I have been waiting for a price drop in this sweater since Rick and Morty came out with season 2. But I finally caved and bought this year for $50. I got it in a size Medium expecting it to be kinda big but it fit perfectly. You have to be careful of washing it though because it shrinks in the dryer. If I knew this, I would have gotten it in a size L so it would fit me like a size M. For reference, I’m 5”5, 135 lbs. also. It doesn’t feel itchy at all. :’) TLDR: Go 1-2 sizes up. Love it! After reading many reviews I was nervous to purchase because some say size up and some say size down but I decided to go with my normal size in sweaters so I purchased a Large. I didn’t want a tight fit so it worked out perfect. It’s not tight fitting at all honestly I wouldn’t mind going up a size for a looser fit either but this is just right for my body. After reading the reviews about it being a size larger than the actual size, I ordered a L instead of an XL which is what I normally wear. Wrong answer! It fit like a large perfectly but that’s to small for me. Returned it and ordered the correct size. Other than my mistake of ordering a size smaller, the sweater looks awesome and feels like quality materials that will last for many human holidays to come!
