I have spatulas in just about every size, but I realized I was missing a small one for those hard-to-reach spots. That’s when this little “Splatypus” caught my eye. Honestly, I chose it as much for the fun design as for the function—I thought it would just add some personality to my kitchen tools. To my surprise, it turned out to be far more than just cute—it’s incredibly practical. The slim shape makes it perfect for scraping into jars, narrow bowls, and all those tricky crevices that bigger spatulas can’t quite reach. Despite its size, it feels sturdy in my hand and has quickly become one of my most-used utensils. After eight months of regular use, I’m impressed with how well it has held up. The colors are still vibrant, and the silicone shows no cracks, nicks, or fading. The product information notes that it’s dishwasher safe, but I’ve only hand washed mine to make sure it lasts as long as possible. So far, that extra care has really paid off—this spatula looks just as good now as the day I bought it. Overall, the Splatypus is the perfect mix of fun and functionality. It makes me smile every time I use it, and it performs just as well—if not better—than my more “serious” kitchen tools. This one is a winner!
