Doesn’t work exactly as described BUT it is a cute little diffuser and the auto-shutoff feature is nice. You cannot get a rainbow effect and it does not necessarily look like flames. Your options are orange light or white light. The diffuser is VERY easy to use though, as there are only three buttons. Talk about being thoroughly disappointed. I bought this and tried it out. The fragrances I purchased for this were great, but the fragrances relied on this diffuser. I thought the fragrances weren’t lasting, but it was a diffuser. I turned it on, but it turned off after a few minutes. I turned it on again and noticed it kept turning off. I tried again a day or two later, and it turned off. I had bought other items that required a more significant power source, so I tried a beefier option. I changed to a different USBA outlet with more power output, which can provide up to 20 Watts. It seemed to run well for a few hours, so I changed to another outlet to reposition it after testing it. I tried it again, and it turned off after a few minutes. I wish I had just spent 10+ dollars and bought a better diffuser with its own power wart. Not to mention, the power buttons are on the back, which makes it very inconvenient to turn them on and off. That’s my fault; I should’ve paid attention to it before buying it. I now have a piece of garbage that I will probably throw away in the trash. I invested in something that has its own power supply (wall wart) instead of just a USB-A that requires me to figure out how much power I need to provide to it.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased mine and was so excited I sent 2 more as gifts. I use mine in my holistic healing office and it was a beautiful addition but it only worked twice now I just see the light no flames because it stopped diffusing the mist. I have cleaned it throughly, I use only DoTerra essential oils and distilled water. This was so beautiful and now it’s a waste of money and electricity so it is no longer used. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!

The device comes with directions that are not that great. The directions are not that good. They should tell you exactly how to set it up (ie remove the two plastic bits), but it does tell you how much clean water to fill. It also says 'use X power supply' but it comes with a USB cord (to attach to a computer), but the device should come with a real power cord. You are paying 42+ dollars for this, and it has some LED light effects and 'snazzy' vapor. Great, fantastic. I do like that part. It took a bit to figure out and I thought it was not working right, but it was, as I had to figure it out. Thank you China for the fantastic clear directions, and for not including the power supply you should include, with the existing price. Don't include the USB plug cost is tight, I gave this 3 stars to send a message to the company. The noise was 5 stars and I would give it 3 to 3.5 for 'scent' as it should also give you direction how much essential oil to drop, but you can play the guessing game with this device, hence 3 to 3.5 for scent. I can smell it good near the device, but I should be able to, after it has been working for a bit to smell it on the other side of the room. I might return this. I will use it for a week and see how it works over the time and give it a chance, but for the cost, I didn't expect this. Also the power buttons are on the same side as the 'caution' label. Due to the fact you must plug this in it is easier to put it with those controls on the outside toward a person wanting to use, though savy dexterous people might shift it, but still really you can't put that warning on the other side? Annoying. I do like the 'flame' look of the mist and the shifting colors. That to me is a '5' along with the super-quiet noise which is also a 5. update. After about 20 minutes or so, I can smell the essential oil in the room diffused to the other side of the room. I like it, it is not too strong, but I can smell it. I'll post more updates if I can.

This Colorful Flame Fire Diffuser Humidifier is a classic case of looks over function. The flame effect is genuinely mesmerizing - creates such a cool vibe in my bedroom at night and the color options are nice. But that's where the good news ends. Started leaking after just a week of use! Found a small puddle under it every morning, which is not what you want from something that's supposed to be an electronic device. The tank size is also smaller than it appears in the photos. I wanted to love this little diffuser, but dealing with water damage isn't worth the pretty light show. Save your money and counter space for something more reliable. Looks can be deceiving!
