This is a great product that is fairly easy to work with, as long as you have 2 people for larger pieces. To flatten the cork, I simply laid it out on a plastic drop cloth, sprayed it lightly with water, covered it with a tablecloth and applied light pressure. It can be a little fragile however, if you don't hold it on the end, it is easy to work with. I applied it to a painted sheetrock wall and used Mastic to apply it. Works really well! I'm an organizing freak. I like boards, pins, and places were I can add notes too. I always wanted to have a cork wall since it looks sleek, so I ordered this roll. In essence, it works. The cork does look beautiful and fits the purpose. However, the quality is a bit on the lower side. The product arrived a bit damaged, and although I could overlook this since it was just a small part, you do need to handle the cork carefully otherwise it would break. This basically crumbles if you try to use any larger portion of it (like anything bigger than a small square). It lasted about a week on my wall before breaking into pieces. Definitely would not buy it again

    • Lots of coverage but fragile and too think for push-pins
You have to be quite careful with this since it does tend to break, but I think that's just how it is when you cut cork this thin. It covers a lot of area for the price, so if the look if it is what you want, it works! But pay attention to the thickness. It's too thin for any kind of push pin. I'm also not convinced of any sound proofing properties, but it has to be better than a perfectly smooth wall. Great for projects if you need a bulk of material. ... show more
