This has 3 light levels and a strobe mode. The light is warm color but not to warm. It seems well made and won't tip over as base is bigger than most. Uses C type usb so less likely to break over time. Bottom can store a few cables in case you need to charge things like phones in emergency but not sure how much charge from battery will be used to charge phone. The size is about same size as original Coleman gas lantern. The flashing is good in case there are many similar cabins and you have to walk a ways in the dark to bathroom, you can find your cabin or camp tent easier if you use this as a marker.
