  • Great bike!!!
It came with a blown gasket, amazon gave severL options to make it right. We ended up choosing to fix the motor ourselves & received a discount for getting a bad motor. My kid loveeeesss the bike, he’s 11 and most of his friends have one also. They are super popular right now, if you’re picking one out for your kid, get this one not the black model and do not get the larger bike, it’s too large for kids! This one is perfect & I didn’t like the idea of him getting one. My husband is a mechanic so it was very easy for us to assemble. I would recommend to upgraded the suspension & brake lines but whats great is the parts for these bikes are cheap! Just please invest in a good DOT CERTIFIED helmet! ... show more

  • Nice size for younger kids, but poor QC is an issue, and the warranty is SHORT.
The media could not be loaded. I received the Coleman B100, 105cc minibike in mid August and was a bit surprised to find it seems to be private labeled by Coleman-- made and assembled in China with the Coleman label added here. Assembly was straight forward and after adding gas & oil it started right up and ran nicely. Unfortunately, after only 6 or 7 hours, running at half throttle or less (I turned the governor way down for my 8 and 10 year old grand kids) , a gasket on the crank area failed and resulted in an oil leak. When running the oil sprays and bubbles out (see video). Fortunately this happened before the EXTREMELY SHORT three month warranty expired. After contacting Coleman Powersports by phone, I was given a service center that is 40 minutes away, and told I have only five days to transport the unit to them or the warranty repair will not be covered. It is too big for the back of my SUV, and would have stunk it up with gas and leaking oil anyway, so I had to get a trailer to transport it. I just dropped it off today, and I'll try to remember to update this review with the results of the repair. My recommendation is: if you decide to take a chance on one of these, be sure to run it A LOT in the first three months. I only ran mine three times when the grand kids were visiting during the day, AND the weather was nice. It's only by dumb luck that it failed after a few hours and 2.5 months, while still under the 3 mo warranty. Edit. The service center is still waiting for the parts from Coleman powersports to make the repair, but according to the mechanic, the gasket was installed incorrectly, and this is a problem he has seen several times before. I added a couple of pics of the mini bike on the trailer ready for the 45 minute trip to the repair shop. Definitely a PIA for a brand new machine. Edit2: picked up the mini bike, and the service team said it was the gasket that was installed improperly. The repair cost was over half the cost of the bike. The service guy also said Coleman powersports is in chapter 11. Kind of makes sense if they've done a lot of these repairs on brand new mini bikes. Same recommendation. If you buy one of these, run it a lot during the warranty.. ... show more

  • Faulty
This bike has so so many issues. Number one is leaks oil all over the place. Started leaking the second week into us buying it. Secondly the breaks are not good at all and no it’s not the way it was put together as we had a car shop owner and students at boces put it together as my father works there. 2 days ago my son almost got hit by a car on our side road because he couldn’t stop due to the breaks! He luckily ended up ok but had to use his feet to stop to the point where it wore his shoe soles off. Te engine gets very hot as well and it doesn’t run good at all after only having the thing for a month! Too much money to throw down the drain and you cannot even return it. Please don’t waste your time or money and find a better option. Very disappointed in Coleman for this piece of garbage. ... show more

  • The reviews are real....unfortunately...
I was like many of you, probably wondering about all of these bad reviews. I too thought that these people had no idea how to take care of a motor, or setup the product correctly. That they were just doing something wrong. Until I bought....three of them. Out of 3 of these, one of them works. The second one won't stay running. Also, The clutch was never tightened down either; just loose on the crankcase shaft. And the third one burned oil so bad right out of the box, it would leave you in a white cloud. After the first rip around the yard, I quickly found out that the crankcase gasket had been damaged upon assembly, promptly emptying oil out EVERYWHERE. You will be fixing these faster than you can ride them. The reviews are real, they are that bad. Luckily, Amazon was AMAZING and made things right on all of them. Order at your own risk, but I would find something better. Good Luck, and happy repairing! ... show more
