The coat is perfect and beautiful. The size is correct and it makes a good figure, it looks very elegant. It is waterproof and keeps you warm in very cold weather. It is true that the zipper has problems (which are easily fixed and without changing it, some feathers also come out, but for the price vs the quality, it is an opportunity.) Don't be fooled by anyone who says not to buy it, it's a good product, I imagine that because of the zipper, you can get it at this price. Otherwise, it would be a coat worth $300 or more. This coat is the perfect length and the hood does block wind. The internal waist up zipper is an added bonus, but be mindful if you are a full sized lady, the inside zipper may not zip, as it is way too tight. The below waist zipper is very sturdy, and there are also snaps that appear to be sturdy also, I did not use them myself. It runs smaller than expected and I am returning this coat. I'd really give it 4.75 just because it needs a little extra cuff material at the end of the sleeve with a thumb hold and a little extra fluff to keep my arms warmer. Otherwise perfectly toasty. I'm 5'6 and 165 pounds, sad to say, but the large fit fine but just a bit snug. If you're bigger and want to wear heavy clothes under, go for XL. Looks just like the picture and the hood can even be tightened around your face. I was looking to replace my Kensie that is very similar with the double zippers, snaps, high collar and hood, and this even better because of the length, mid calf. I do miss the cuff and heavier sleeve, but not the constant outer zipper coming apart. Great choice, buy with confidence and stay toasty. ... show more

Absolutely love this coat. It is very warm and has been a lifesaver during below-freezing New England temperatures. I bought it in the Merlot color, which looks more like a purplish plum than a deep burgundy, but it’s still a beautiful color. The jacket feels well-made and the length is perfect. I’m 5’2½” and it falls just below my knee, which keeps me warm without feeling overwhelming. This is actually my second coat in this style—my first one lasted about five years before I needed to replace it. I originally paid much more in-store, so finding it on Amazon at a better price was a great surprise. My only concern is the zippers, since that’s what eventually failed on my previous coat. No issues so far with this one. Overall, I love this jacket, would absolutely buy it again, and highly recommend it for really cold weather. ... show more

Just received this puffer and am very glad that it fits my regular size M and looks pretty nice. I am 5’4” and sleeves are good in length, not too long . The only drawback is that it was described as 50% Down Clusters/50% Waterfowl Feathers fill, in reality the tag says that it is 30% down, 30% waterfowl feathers and 40% polyester. Very misleading information and it cannot be allowed to do such things. But because it really fits good and the price was good I decided to keep it. Zippers work so far but I am very accurate with them after reading all reviews about zippers problems. ... show more

This is my second time to buy this jacket because I absolutely loved my first one I had so much, and now I need a larger size. However, they are not making them like they used to. The zipper is cheap plastic that pulls open and the slightest movement. I love the jacket for how warm it keeps me, and the slimming style, but the terrible zipper really kills it for me. I LOVED LOVED LOVED this coat, but I sadly had to return it. I originally tried this on in a petite small at Macy's, and it was just a tad too small and out of stock in any other sizes. I ordered the regular small off of Amazon, hoping it would be just a bit bigger, but I honestly could not tell the difference between the petite small and regular small. Since it was out of stock everywhere I looked for bigger sizes, I am still looking for the perfect coat, but this would have been it for me had it fit. The coat itself is nicely made. It is a little heavy compared to other down coats I looked at, but the fabric was heavier and sturdier. I loved the oversized hood, it looked fantastic. I really liked the separate zippered vest, as you can unzip the whole thing without having your coat completely hanging open. The zippers are metal, and catch a bit, but I think they would hold up well and the other good things about the coat outweigh this con in my opinion. The silhouette is the most flattering I have seen on a puffer coat. The length and snaps are great. Besides being a little heavier than I would have liked, as I was looking for an ultra light coat, I loved this coat SO much! I am sincerely disappointed I never managed to find one that fit. One odd thing I noticed is that I had plenty of room in the vest part, especially in the regular small, but the rest of the coat itself was too tight, tighter than the vest inside it. ... show more
