This coat was everything I wanted. It is pretty and so warm. However, after only two months of wearing it, one of the front snaps came off. Not only can I not snap it, it is visibly obvious. I hate that this happened. I loved the coat, and it would be an easy 5 star review had that not happened.

Ordered size Small but its mislabeled. it’s actually small/petite on the tag on the collar so it was tight around the shoulders and the front fit too tight when zipped up. I own the size medium one of this coat already in the tan/chestnut color and it was too big so it looked shapeless and a bit cheap. But the navy one looks better. I had a problem with the zipper as well that wouldn’t come down easily on the first few times even when not caught but seems to work better now. The plus side is that the coat is very warm so didn’t need to wear a heavy sweater underneath even in 20 F weather. If the sizing listed wasn’t inaccurate I would’ve given it 5 stars. I own other Cole Haan jackets/Coats which are more expensive looking/better quality/costs more. This is “Cole Haan Signature” line which is their cheaper line so don’t expect the same level of quality. ... show more

I’m 5”3, 165 pounds. I’m in my mid 30s. Usually size 8-10, 34DD bra size. Purchased in large. Fit is fantastic, coat feels heavy but not too heavy. Excellent stitching, attention to detail. Got the color that’s the light brown and it’s gorgeous, flattering for anyone I think. Length is great, keeps my bum covered, hits at about mid thigh for me, maybe slightly longer. The coat is beautiful, but is running about a half size small. I almost always wear a medium coat, but this is a bit narrow overall- chest, waist and hips. The green-gray is beautiful and subtle. I think the coat is very well made and not cheap at all. The hood is zippered in and like a rain hood, so not the traditional hood, so if you need a real warm hood, this is not the right coat. I would wear the coat with a hat and not use the hood, except over a hat ideally in really bad weather. ... show more

Ordered tan color and turned out darker than pictured. Will hide stains well. No warm lining in pockets. Zipper is on 'coarse' side, resulting in not always fuctioning smoothly. Agree w previous comments on sizing. Warm but not heavy coat. Warm enough for temps in low 30's, but not colder.

I really like this jacket. It’s warm, feels and looks well-made, fashionable, and you can hide the hood if you like. However it runs small at the chest/shoulder area. I’m 38 in bras and the medium is the little tight in that area. Everywhere else is fine- it even gives a very nice waist. I think a large would’ve looked to big so I kept the medium.
