This is so disappointing. We purchased two sets of these dining chairs, and each box contains two chairs. The first set assembled perfectly, but the second set had a manufacturing defect. According to Step 2 of the assembly instructions, the iron plate should attach to the chair legs and fit against a recessed (indented) area on the wooden backrest. The first set had this recessed area (see photo), so assembly was successful. Unfortunately, the second set was missing the recessed area on the backrest, making it impossible for the iron plate to sit flush or align with the screw holes as shown in the instructions. We thought it was just a defective set, so we requested a replacement. However, the replacement arrived with the exact same manufacturing defect. At this point, we’ve received multiple chairs with the same issue, and it’s clear there is a serious quality control problem. We’ve already gone through the hassle of returning the product once, only to receive another defective replacement. We really don’t have much choice now but to sell the usable chairs on Facebook Marketplace because we can’t complete a matching set. This experience has been extremely frustrating. I expected much better quality control and customer service, especially after receiving the same defective product 3 times. I hope the manufacturer addresses this issue so other customers don’t have the same experience. ... show more

The instructions to get the back of the chair on was very difficult to get correct, and the video/handout were really not helpful. They are lightweight and easy to move. The chairs look great and fit a modern dining space really well. They were fairly easy to assemble and are comfortable enough for everyday use. My biggest complaint is that they feel a little flimsy compared to what I expected. They’re fine for normal use, but they don’t have that solid, sturdy feel. The light-colored fabric also gets dirty very easily, so you’ll probably need to clean them often if you have kids, pets, or wear dark jeans.
