Soft, velvety, classy color, plus it brings enough storage space to the party (in this oh-so-small house) to stow a couple of sets of bed linens. Comfy to sit in, nice proportions, looks & feels good standalone or draped with an afghan. A gem IMHO.

The chair and ottoman fit nicely in a corner, providing guests with a comfy place to sit and read. The ottoman slides easily under the chair and out of the way when not in use. I ordered this for a corner of my little guest room, wanting a small comfortable chair with possible storage, which this has. Was a bit nervous to order online as I’d not sat in it, but reviews were reassuring. Was in perfect shape on arrival (plastic wrapped, inside large box), which had been a concern since it is white. Couldn’t be happier with look of it and the ottoman in the intended space. I also LOVE that I can now put the guest room extra fleece blanket inside the ottoman instead of having it draped across the foot of the bed. It doesn’t seem quite as comfortable to sit in as reviews had stated—very firm which I realize most people prefer—but certainly acceptable and my 80+ y/o Mom who stays in my guest room used the chair for the first time over this Thanksgiving and says it’s very comfy and she enjoyed sitting in it to read. This chair is a great size for my home office. It came completely put together so that was nice. The only complaint I have is that the chair is not as soft as I imagined it would be. I guess that is a personal preference though but that is why I gave it 4 stars.
