Put two together in around 30 minutes. Instructions were pretty clear but small print and could have been a larger font. Colors were as described. Boxed well and easy to get out. The hardware is under the bottom seat cushion velcroed cover. Attaching pictures and some instructions after reading some reviews. 1st and 2nd pictures shows the bolts with hex head, flat washers, lock washers set out for easy access. Comes with a 6 mm allen wrench but I used my own with a handle. It is easier and faster to use. Set the seat bottom on the empty box with the seat upside down and the cover folded out of the way. Set out the needed hardware as shown. The chair back is placed with the legs up and almost matches the holes in the seat. The chair back already has preinstalled nuts. Take the bolt and place the lock washer on it and then the flat washer. Raise the back leg slightly and start screwing the 50 mm allen head bolts through the pre-drilled holes into the chair back legs. Just finger tighten around 1/3". Do this with all 4 bolts, then start finger tightening, alternating after every few turns until finger tight. Then start using the allen wrench using the same alternating tightening procedure. Slightly jiggle the back while tightening so it fits tighter. Do not tighten all the way yet. Then place the front legs into the corners behind the diagonal brace. Make sure the preinstalled nuts are facing inwards (see picture) and slide the leg in so it is tight in the slot. Now do the same procedure with the bolts, washers, and lock washers as with the back legs. Now tighten with the tool, but again alternate back and forth as you tighten so the final tightening is spread among all 4 bolts. Do not over tighten. After sitting on the chairs over a short period of time check and make sure all bolts are still evenly tight. When placing the bottom cover back on lay one side down on the velcro and push itdownso it sticks tight. Then go to the other side and stretch the cover tight and repeat. Then go to the front edge and pull the cover tight and press hard on the velcro. Then press down all the way around the edges on the velcro. The cushion has lots of padding, and the cloth feels thick. The chairs are light weight and I hope they hold up for a long time. They also included 1 extra of each hardware item which is an added bonus. Put the extras with the instruction booklet in a zipping plastic bag.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these chairs. My husband and I use them as our primary dining chairs. We are "a bit plump" so I was concerned that they would not be sturdy enough. They are. They are very comfortable and were easy to assemble. I'm glad I purchased them.
