Don't use 1/4 that much however if you break one of these i have to question what the heck were you doing with it. Real happy with my purchase i also have the 3/8th which i use often & they're good as well. Would buy again however i see no reason to as they will last for years

    • This has become one of my favorite tools in my box!
As a professional tech I also tend to be frugal. There's no way I was about to shell out hundreds of dollars for a 1/4 inch socket set from a tool truck. It's not like they have to handle a lot of torque or abuse! And since 1/4 sockets are so small they are super easy to lose as well! Instead I had been purchasing 1/4 inch chrome socket sets from parts stores or harbor freight for under $10. The price was right but I'd be lucky to get a few months use out of these before they became deformed and unusable. I finally decided to "splurge" on a decent set when I stumbled across this kit! All i can say is wow! They've held up great! They fit the nuts and bolts perfectly and the price is right! My ONLY complaint about this set is that they seem to fit just a little bit loose on my 1/4 inch extensions. It's almost like the lock fits loose in the hole on the sockets and I have to be a little bit careful because it doesn't take much for the socket to come off of my extensions. However I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing as because of this I'm much more careful about these sockets and I feel like that helps to keep me from losing them! I will note that many years ago I owned a set of Sunex 3/8" swivel sockets and they didn't last very long at all before the swivel portion would break. I was a bit skeptical about the quality of these sockets because of my experience with those but like I said so far these have been great! ... show more

    • The case sucks.
Sockets are great but the case sucks. It’s black not not as in the picture. I got some spray adhesive and glued cardboard inside case for easy fix. If you don’t sockets just fall out of place. Would be 5 star if the case wasn’t screwed up.
