It was easily assembled, is not over-sized for the room it was to be used in, and is super-comfy! The leather is very high quality, is supposed to be resistant to cracking and wear (which is one of the problems we had with our last one) and is very smooth and comfortable (padding is very thick on the seat itself as well as the armrests). I love it and I would buy another of the same type if need be in the future.

I wanted a chair that was comfortable---and I got one. This is a little more money than average but well worth it. It appears well made--had it a week and so far so good---and was pretty easy to put together. For some, it might be a two person job getting the back lined up attached to the bottom. The head rest is adjustable and also can be removed which is a nice feature when you want to just lean back. Very happy with this purchase!

Very nice. I just assembled this chair alone in less than one half hour. I am 77 years old with several aches and pains. Very easy with good instructions. It comes with all the tools you need for assembly. And wow, is it comfortable. I highly recommend it.

I’ve had this chair for about a week and a half now and I like it. It’s very comfortable well-made easy to put together and seems very solid two complaints I have about it number one is it advertises a 30° rocking motion from 90 to 120° but in all actuality, it only has a rocking motion of 14° Measured with a digital Angle Finder the second is chair is not tall enough. It only has 2 inches of adjustment and when I sit up straight, it feels like I’m in a squatting position. The only time I can take my weight off my feet sitting in the chairs when I recline Even then my feet are still pressing into the floor. It would be nice if the chair was 2 to 3 inches taller. I have ordered larger wheels to help compensate for this shortcoming when I receive them hopefully it will fix the problem that I have.

In the past, I've bought cheaper "gamer" racing chairs. They were comfier than sitting on a hardwood chair, but were rough to sit in for more than a couple hours. I bought this Colamy to try a more comfier chair with my height and weight in mind and its fantastic. The seat of the chair is cushy and comfortable, the head rest is wide, and the arm rest really tie it together. Its like sitting in a recliner almost. Somethings to note is that after periods of sitting in the chair, it retains body heat pretty well so might get sweaty on a hot day. The height adjustments for the chair don't feel significant. Some adjustments I made to the chair: I replaced the wheels with caster wheels that raise the chair about 2 inches higher. I also added quick detach system for the arm rests if I want to remove them.

It's okay as a comfy executive chair to kick back in, but I wouldn't say this is a good task chair due to several ergonomic limitations. Colamy simply does not engineer many points of adjustment into their chairs, so there's no way to achieve an upright position for full back support as you'd have on a task chair. I would give this thing a higher rating if Colamy incorporated more points of adjustment for a better variety of seating positions, but can't really recommend it as being versatile enough for hours of uninterrupted desk work in an ergonomic posture. This seems more like a chair to have in a rec room to kick back and relax in, for video gaming or watching a movie, or if you're literally trying to be the living embodiment of an executive stereotype who always keeps his feet up on the desk all day. It's not the kind of chair to really support you in an upright position while working at a desk because it lacks upper back or shoulder support for an upright seated position. Feels fine casually leaning back in and rocking and the lumbar air bladder feature allows for fine adjustment, but I personally don't utilize it that much. You really only need lumber support in an upright position, not the kind of position this chair puts you in. They have a product video showing a 6'0" 300lb guy enthusiastically happy and having the time of his life sitting in this thing, but he does not have much back support when working at his desk if you watch it carefully. He is leaning forward while seated to work at his computer and has no back support. They fiddle with their product listings quite often, so the video may be on a separate product page now. I'd suggest watching it carefully to see what I mean, if you manage to find it. At 5'10" and 200lbs, I may not seem like the target market for a product like this, but I thought the ample cushioning was appealing. The seat does not easily bottom out against the hard frame, so you won't feel the flat plank of the frame under the cushion on your back side, which is common in some other chairs. Not recommended for carpet unless it's very thin commercial carpet over hard flooring. It rolls smoothly for its size, but you'll want a tough, thick, expensive chair mat if this is going on regular carpet. On the plus side: the materials are nice quality, with a heavy steel base that keeps the center of gravity low to help it roll smoothly. The base legs also have a nicely rounded ergonomic shape with no pointed edges, so you won't be cursing under your breath in frustration if you bang your feet into them. The synthetic leather has a pleasant soft feel, but also takes on the temperature of its surroundings just like a leather car seat would, so it may get chilly in winter, or hot and sticky in summer. When combined with all the cushioning, it is also a bit grabby and starts to feel like this thing is swallowing you, and it's a bit hard to move around in even despite the large size. And word of warning if you have pets: the soft synthetic leather is almost certainly going to get punctured and scuffed. The gradually sloping waterfall edge on the front of the seat cushion seems nice to help with thigh circulation, preventing the feeling of sitting fatigue, however, it has a bit of an upward incline to it that you don't really notice until you've had some real seat time with it. This creates the feeling of being swallowed into this thing, almost like it's folding you at the legs, because your thighs may not be totally parallel with the floor. It also sits lower than a typical chair, something to keep in mind. The headrest is nice but only when leaning back, and because there's only vertical height adjustment, you may need an aftermarket pillow intended for recliner type chairs if you want to rest your head, neck, shoulders, or upper back against something while sitting upright. The armrests have no squared edges or corners, but because they're so prominent and have no adjustment feature, they may not scoot in under a desk. So this already large chair will take up even more space because it won't easily scoot under most desks. The armrests will almost certainly rub against the edge of the desk and just as mentioned earlier about pets, the synthetic leather will wear and tear quickly if they rub like that. I found that taking the armrests off didn't impact the chair's stability, but it is an effort to attach or detach them as they require tension fitting between the base and the back. They do not just conveniently align by default; you have to tilt the chair completely forward ninety degrees onto the floor and carefully apply a lot of tension to pull them into place while seating the frame screw. I can see how that assembly step could frustrate people, because not every office chair has its arm rests aligned in this manner. I'm pretty handy but even I found it to be a struggle. Because of its size, it's also a tight squeeze if you're moving it between rooms, even with a typical 32" door frame. You may have to squeeze and wiggle and jiggle to slide it through. Some older door frames can be even smaller, so you'd literally need two people to lift and rotate the chair like a piece of furniture to get it through if you don't want to disassemble it. So if you have small doors, consider assembling it in the room it'll be used in or you're gonna have a bad time. Also noticed that despite it feeling level, it has the appearance of leaning slightly off to the right even though the frame screws were positioned plumb and square on the base and secured in a cross-tightened fashion. Measuring with a bubble level verified that to be true, but there isn't a whole lot of adjustment you can make to correct this, outside of maybe putting metal shims or washers behind the load-bearing screws to balance it out by a fraction of an inch. It still feels alright when you sit in it though; doesn't feel like it's leaning, probably because of all the cushioning. Another big zonk is that the packaging and instructions have room for improvement. They honestly deserve to lose a star on these aspects alone, but I'm cutting them some slack at this point. I know this isn't marketed as a premium product, but the whole thing is thrown together rather slapdash into a pile of organized chaos in a giant box with minimal packaging, protection, or separation of the components, so you'd better hope it's handled carefully during shipping. The packaging of this supposedly brand new item looks more like a used return item that's been repackaged just enough to pass minimal shipping standards. There are also multiple grammatical and proofreading errors in the instructions, including mislabeled part numbers and some incorrect diagrams. But hey, it's current year and I have to remind myself that proofreading anything makes you a boomer, and running text past an editor or even some GPT software is also too big of an ask, even though such tools are cheap and readily available, but this is the "new normal" now so whatever.

Update, I contacted customer support and the new chair they gave me is perfect, no defects at all and no cost to me. So I am changing my review from 1 to 5 stars since the chair is amazing. -------- I bought this chair once before and decided to get another. It's a very comfy chair. I use it everyday for long hours at work no problem. Thanks to this chair I no longer have backpain at my job. I have worked 12 to 14 hour days at my desk and the chair did not cause any pain for me whatsoever. I decided to get one for the house. However this time it arrived with a gash in the seat. This thing is heavy so I am not going to bother to return it. For 200+ bucks I expect better. I have all the parts out and I am not going to try to put it back in the box. This was my birthday gift and they screwed me over. Sad!
