This was shipped fast. I use it for checking coins for errors and with my bad vision this works great. Has a large screen and if I need it larger can attach to a laptop via USB and magnify using laptop camera. I have charged it several times and it works for about an hour off each charge. I would Recomend this for coin collectors or as a microscope for kids, or small part/ computer repair. You can adjust height and focus and side lights are adjustable for brightness.

The microscope was easy to assemble but the link to the downloadable file needed to operate it with your PC is not responding. I have tried for several days at all times of the day and well into the night to try to get through. No response, the link times out. Without the software the microscope can't be connected to the PC. I tried sending email to the contact email in the instructions but the messages come back as undeliverable. I tried the correct spelling; that seems to have gone somewhere but there has been no reply. Since the microscope is unusable without the software my only recourse is to return it for a refund. Sad, since it might actually be a useful tool.

My husband absolutely loves this. It was delivered yesterday and he has been using it ever since. He can now read the dates on coins without bothering me to read them for him. Best gift for coin readers.

This microscope is pretty great. You can really zoom in. I wouldn't say that using the menu is all that difficult but, its not all that easy either. You just have to play with it and discover because the user manual is a bit lacking. I like it though. I only have one complaint and honestly it is annoying but not enough to send it back. But, it starts recording video randomly when ever it wants. And it isn't a sensitive button either because sometimes Im not even touching it and it just starts recording even if I left it in camera mode . I'm not sure why there isn't just a viewing mode. You can delete this off the card I'm sure once its hooked up to a pc. I havent done that yet. So other than the random recording its pretty cool. Update: It's been a couple of weeks and the random recording has continued. One time it actually turned itself on and began recording. There is a customer service email in the user guide. I sent an email and i was retuned for non existing email address. The SD card finally was full and now when I turn it on it just says sd card full and now it doesn't record! Win for me. I still have not dl'd the software for my laptop. When Im ready to actually take photos with it I suppose I will. Other than the random recording I still recommend this microscope it really does do well with coins and any other thing you want to see up close. I believe there is a way to dim the scope light in the soft ware. I will update again when and if I do.
