    • Phenomenal Customer Service!
My original review of this product is still listed below. However, I felt I needed to update it to include the unexpected, yet absolutely incredible customer service I received from this company! I wrote my original review basically to say that the camera is awesome and takes incredible pictures, but there were some connectivity issues. The company’s response was to contact me directly and offer me a free replacement camera, without requiring me to return the original one, and to give me a refund for the purchase of the original. Surprise 😳, and shock were my response. Not only that, but they continued to communicate with me to make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend any company that supports and stands by their product as well as this one has, and I will do business with them again if I ever need one of their products. Original Review: This camera/microscope works wonderful, as long as it is working. The only issue I have with this camera is that it freezes after about 3-4 pictures are taken, and there’s nothing that I have found to prevent this, or to even know how many pictures you’ll get before it happens. It happens 100% of the time I use it. I finally get it connected to see on my phone, focus in, take 2 pics, and frozen screen again. SOMETIMES you can disconnect it from the phones wifi, turn it completely off, close the app completely (not in standby, but completely closed), then try to reconnect again. This only works about 50% of the time though. You normally just need to be glad you got 2-3 pics, then try again in a few hours or the next day. Quality is worth the money paid, even the intermittent nature is almost worth the cost, but it’s really a hassle most of the time just to get it to work properly. I haven’t been able to use the new camera that I was given, so I can’t update the original review yet, but I will try to remember to change it if the new camera doesn’t have the issues the original one did. Again, I would like to point out that the camera is easy to use, and takes incredibly detailed microscopic pictures and is worth the price paid! ... show more

Updated Review: I definitely had some problems with my first two microscopes. The second seemed to have been a problem with the USB cable, so that explains that. The first is still a mystery. Maybe wear and tear or something I simply didn't notice. Luckily, with the latest one everything is working as intended. For some reason it works with more functionality with the accompanying software. I'm not sure how that is possible, but I'm definitely not complaining! It's worth noting that I still use this microscope solely attached to my PC via USB cable. I have tried it out wireless with my phone and it worked flawlessly. If you happen to have any problems with your microscope do not hesitate to reach out to the seller - they provide great customer service! - - original review below - - I've gone through two of these microscopes already. I treat them with care, as direct, etc. I really enjoyed the size and design of this microscope, the lighting, just about everything. My first microscope worked great but inexplicably stopped working after about 5 months. It started with losing the picture through the software when using it on my PC. I'd reconnect it, power cycle it, reinstall the software - everything. Eventually it just stopped doing anything. Unfortunately at that point I was well past my return or replace option, so I bit the bullet and bought another one. The second one worked for about two days before I'd lose picture (screen/image would simply go black). I'd have to stop recording and start again and the picture would come back. Then that "fix" stopped working. I'd have to close the software or restart the microscope and then it would work - but for only 2 more minutes, max. That one I was able to return. I still plug in my old one every now and then in hopes it will just start working again. Maybe one day. I really loved this microscope, but it's WAY too unreliable. ... show more

Update. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Their customer support is not helpful, and very rude. Update 2: After insulting me multiple times, they offered to send a new one and once I confirmed my address, they ghosted me and did not send it. DO NOT BUY. I bought this and tried it a few times. The first time I was able to connect it to my phone thru the Wifi app, and it work quite well, although you definitely have to fiddle with the settings. The subsequent times I tried to connect with wifi for this to use again, it would not work and kept prompting me to join the Wifi-which I was already on. I bought this because I work with small parts from my customers, and my eyesight ain't what it used to be. -PROS- - The scope works great. I can see miniscule details clearly - The set up is super easy. It's plug and play. - The software downloaded from the website is easy to use. -CONS- - The stand is absolute garbage. It's cheaply built and not sturdy at all. - Focusing can be a problem due to the stand being cheap. Summary - if you need a cheap and decent microscope to see small things, this will be good enough. My son is into botany. We bought this to create new strains of flowers and research them close up. The pictures cone out crystal clear. I can't believe how amazing this little thing is for the price!
