  • Very easy to use, and sooooo clear.
Color: Black
You must keep the device flat down on whatever you are trying to magnify or it will quickly go out of focus. Works very well for checking my fiber optic cables order.

  • Works like a charm!
Color: Black
This portable magnifying glass works like a charm! I mainly use it to inspect my turntable needle, and it makes seeing every detail incredibly easy. The built-in light is bright and even, and the magnification is clear and sharp. Compact, handy, and a must-have for any vinyl enthusiast or anyone needing precise close-up work. ... show more

  • Camera and lighting
Color: Black
Good magnifying glass to look at coins with. Some difficulties but nothing to major. I like the camera and lighting fuctions as well. Helps with being able to see the smaller details

  • Good image quality for price, but needs a stable Wi-Fi connection.
Color: BlackSilver
This wireless digital microscope is easy to set up and fun to use. The image quality is good for the price, and the Wi-Fi connection makes it convenient to view on my phone or tablet. Great for kids and hobby projects.

  • Frequently returned item.
Color: Black
There’s a reason Amazon appends the warning “Frequently returned item” to the bottom of the advertisement page. It warns, “Check the product details and customer reviews to learn more about this item.” Okay, that’s why I’m here. This is probably a decent optical device at a super-cheap price, but only if you can get it to work. Every electronic device sold should have a set of detailed operating instructions, either in written form inside the box or online, or on YouTube, so every basic operation of the device is identified and it’s operation is fully explained. This device has operating instructions that overwhelmingly deal only with connecting the device to a computer. Basic functions are poorly explained. They don’t outright say the device is not compatible with an iPad, but I’ve researched that issue on the internet, also with AI assistance, and this device is not compatible with an IPad, at least not with an iPad Pro running iOS 26.5. The device works okay as a lighted magnifying glass with a 2” screen. The photo feature using the onboard 100-page memory is unworkable. When you take a picture that’s blurred or you want to delete it for any reason, there’s no way to delete the bad ones. The instructions provided don’t mention how to delete bum photos. There are no online resources or videos that mention it, and a Google AI search produces only the hallucination of a procedure that isn’t sourced and doesn’t work. When you press the button to delete, the screen displays “Goodbye” and shuts itself off. Time after time. Even a power-off reset (POR) won’t reset the photo memory or restore the photo feature to a new start. That’s a deal breaker. On mine, the software seemed to work in the first few minutes, then got stuck on a page that required setting the date and time for photo purposes. I re-entered the data several times, but the program keeps getting stuck on that page. I don’t mind getting stuck in a program if I can research my way out of it, by searching the internet or some other online resources. However, there is no online help for this product. It’s stuck. You’re stuck. That’s why the star rating is what it is, and why it’s being returned. If I were a seller, I’d be sure my product had complete operating instructions and a troubleshooting guide online or in-the-box, written and presented by a competent technical writer so frustrated customers don’t give up and frequently return the item. What a waste . . . Three stars because it works as a magnifying glass at a cheap price. Zero stars because nothing else works. ... show more

  • Absolute Lifesaver for Electronics Work – Makes Tiny Component Markings Crystal Clear! Absolute Lifesaver for Electronics Work – Makes Tiny Component Markings Crystal Clear!
Color: Black
This T TAKMLY handheld digital microscope has been a game-changer for me—my eyes just can't read the super-small numbers and markings on transistors, ICs, and other SMD components anymore without major strain. At 5 stars all the way! The 500x magnification (with fixed focus) zooms in perfectly on those tiny details, and the 2.0-inch IPS color screen shows everything sharp and in realistic colors right on the device—no squinting or extra glasses needed. The built-in LED lights (8 of them!) light up the area evenly without glare or shadows, making it easy to identify part numbers, pinouts, or defects quickly. It's portable, charges via USB, and connects to PC/Mac if I want a bigger view or to capture photos/videos for reference. No more frustration during repairs or sorting parts—this thing saves my eyesight and time on the bench. Great build quality for the price, easy to use (just hold it steady at the right distance), and the battery lasts plenty for sessions. If you're into electronics, soldering, or any fine-detail hobby and your vision isn't what it used to be, grab this—it's worth every penny. Highly recommend ... show more

  • Absolute Garbage, now that MaxSee doesn't work
Color: BlackSilver
Garbage - Totally agree with other "1 star" reviewers. This scope WAS good for WiFi while MaxSee was working. Now, it is a paperweight. I have tried all other apps (Android), and nothing, including the one recommended by Takmly, will work more than 2 seconds before freezing and disconnecting. Too bad, it was good while it lasted. Now it goes into the trash, and I am looking for one of the competitors (that will work). Let me clarify something - At best, it as, in my opinion, a "toy". The adjustment dials are WAY too sensitive, and you really have to have this mounted on something for it to be usable. For coins, on a stable base, where you can eventually set the focus on a specific point and swap coins (not moving the camera), it works well. Move the object, not the camera. More 'clarification' - to give you some idea of the sensitivity of the adjustment dials - on a 'regular' microscope, you could turn a dial maybe 3-5 full times to adjust the same that this does in maybe 1/2 turn. There is no fine tuning unless you are really lucky. For anything else (like looking at trichomes on a growing plant), it is close to useless. You have to be REALLY lucky to hold the camera still, at the right distance, at the right spot, for more than a second to have a chance to snap a photo. Again, a tripod mount would help here, but it was more of a challenge to use than it was worth. To be completely fair - IF you are hooking this up WIRED to a COMPUTER (NOT a phone, NOT using Wifi), and you are using the base (NOT handheld), and you are looking at something like coins, paper money, or fabric that you can slide into the focal area, you should be ok. Wireless, however, go find something else. Update 8/12/24 - after re-reading the review above, I do stand by what I said. I purchased this device when it DID work - when MaxSee worked. I used it for coins, stamps, and observing trichomes. While WILDLY sensitive and almost impossible to use if holding in your hand (I purchased a microphone stand to mount it on so it would be stable for looking at plants), it will work if mounted on a stand, AND connected by a wire to your computer. The wireless connectivity (the only reason I purchased this particular microscope) disappeared when MaxSee stopped working. You would think the company (Takmly) would develop and support their own software for this device, instead of relying on someone else. ... show more

  • You got to put it on top of the thing for it to be clear. Otherwise it’s great!
Color: Black
It’s really a good product you just got to know how to use it. I was using it like a normal magnifying glass and the image was very blurry. However, when I started to really put it close and I mean you really gotta put it on top of the thing, it’s quite remarkable. I’m very grateful for it because my nephew decided it would be a great idea to grab a cactus and got stung and it hoped us see clearly where the thorns were. It has a great gift value and very much worth the money. So far it’s got a great battery life. Only charged it once and it’s still good, mind you I don’t use it very often but I haven’t had to charge it with every use. Haven’t tried out the connectivity but not holding out too much hope because I own a MacBook and I haven’t found any software compatible with it but who knows? Overall good buy and very useful. ... show more
