This canopy’s footprint is high enough to allow people to walk around without the feeling that they’ll hit the ceiling. It is very easy to assemble, very sturdy, and it blocks the sun and the rain. We can use it in the backyard, although I suspect it will be mostly used on our camping trips. One can put the four panels or can use it without any side panel. In the summer we usually put one or two panels to get more shade, rotating the canopy to keep up with the sun's movement. Other times we don’t put any wall and place it above the picnic table. Few items to pay attention to, the top does not have ventilation around the peak. Our other canopy has that ventilation. The locking mechanism for the legs is nicer, using toggle, just make sure that you lift the leg in the air, because it the sliding portion is even a bit off, it will not lock. We put on the top cover, and do not remove it when we collapse and fold for the bag. Being a lazy bunch, we don’t want to go through the full assembly on each trip. The bag is a bit flimsy (thin material) but it will hold and has wheels. Helpful, because this unit is heavy. ... show more

I got this for beach trips and rv trips. It’s easier to set it up with 2 people. Set up is simple, I have multiple canopies like this and set up for this is similar to my other 10x10’s. When staking these in the ground at home, I use the corkscrew type tent stakes. I don’t take mine down for storms. The screw in stakes have held through high winds. The one we had break was during a hurricane the 120 mph winds broke some tree branches over it and the weight of the branches busted the frame. That older canopy had been through 3 hurricanes before the tree branches smashed it. I did roll the walls up when we were expecting high winds. I hope this one proves to be as durable. We used this for the first time today and BY FAR, it was the fastest and easiest to set up AND take down! It was easy enough for one person to do it, though it would definitely be faster with two. All the parts were easy to get back into the bag, which was also a very pleasant surprise. It provided some much needed shade for our birthday party and will definitely be used over and over. We have one of these already but it doesn't have the sides, this one is great. Just as easy to set up as the other and awesome that there are sidewalls if we would ever need (probably not but I like that we have the option).
