This is my first kindle and I'm pleasantly surprised, it’s easy to read from and doesn’t strain my eyes. The screen is bright enough to read, you can read it in the dark and doesn’t have a glare like my iPad does. The screen does a really good job at replicating the look of paper. The battery last longer than my iPad and when it does get low, it recharges quickly. Purchasing and downloading books is easy and user friendly, it even plays audio books. Best of all, it’s significantly cheaper than buying a standard book.

This case really surpassed my expectations. I think the most important factor for a kindle case is how it feels in my hands while reading. This case feels lovely and smooth. It’s a pleasing texture. The inside is soft, although it’s slightly less pleasing to rub your fingers on than the Amazon official kindle cases. But overall, I like this case a lot. The Mag Ring is strong and works well with my MagSafe pop socket. Although, having a pop socket on a cover that has a front flap is a big weird. You can only really use it in one hand. Great case! Would not hesitate to recommend.

I read a lot and like my Paperwhite over the Fire tablets for this purpose. The cover is a good fit and the magnets in the lid do a good job of both turning on/off the tablet and holding it out of the way when in use. The slightly thicker plastic and the padding allows me some confidence of the more expensive unit's protection

This case for paperwhite kindle is less than a year old and is falling apart. Seams have split and the binding area has cracked. Time to buy another case, but it won’t be this one.

Cover feels too plasticky and I don’t like the microfibre feel of the inside of the cover. I am a bit sensitive to certain fabrics though, so that probably wouldn’t bother someone else. I bought two covers (this and a plant based leather cover from Amazon) and will be returning this one. I will say that it does work well and the magnetic MagSafe attachment works with portable chargers. That’s why I thought I wanted this one. No weird smell. Looks sturdy. Can’t comment on the fit to my kindle coloursoft because my delivery driver didn’t ring my doorbell to deliver it and marked it as “unable to access from door”. When it went back to the mail station it went “missing” (I’m guessing stolen?) and the new one isn’t being delivered for another week. /rant
