Sturdy and Comfortable chairs
UPDATE: Two years later we are still using these chairs and have been thrilled with them. They are super easy to clean as the fabric washes up very nicely with just water. They still look brand new, despite the abuse my children put them through. If could add more than 5 stars, I would! ************************************************************* The chairs were not difficult to put together, though they were a little time consuming. I spent about 45 minutes on each one, though to be fair, I was also watching tv at the same time which may have slowed me down. :) The chairs are cushy and comfortable and seem to be of good quality, especially for the price. We are very pleased. One thing we love about them is that they are heavy enough not to slide around too much - even after we placed felt feet on them to protect our floor. We were replacing swivel chairs that would clank into the bar top when you even brushed by them and so these seem so nice and quiet and they stay put! Perfect for us. ... show more

Great for the price
The reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star rating is due to the fact that the instructions on how to put these together are very poor. If you are comfortable with assembling things and like a challenge, this will be fun. All the parts are there, but they are not very clearly marked to where (the short vs the long screws go). Also, The color of the actual cushions does not match the color in picture, it is a bit darker with a shade of grey rather than having that "tan/cappuccino" look. It arrived on time and nothing was missing or broken. The chairs look great and fit my island/bar counter perfectly. I have only had them for about a week and they have been great, they are sturdy and quite comfortable. Recommend it to anyone who is looking for great chairs at an unbeatable price. ... show more

Priced right, easy to living
Assembled quickly and easily. Rick looking stain. Decent fabric that resists light stains. We've had them 8 months and still look new. Light and easy to move up to counter when sitting. I put felt pad on bottom of legs since we have hard wood floors. Chair pad has stood up to the cat claws so far, too. Not as heavy and expensive as commercial barstools. We are not hard out our furniture so if you have children, shove the backs not the counter, knock the stools around, then you might want something more industrial. Only thing I could wish for was the option to buy just one since our bar could fit three, but they are from China meaning you don't get custom, choices, or much input. ... show more

Okay, But not great...
I ordered these bar stools for two reasons...1) I thought they would look great at my kitchen island against my new hardwood floors and 2) I assumed, because they were made by Coaster, they would be sturdy and heavy like our bedroom furniture. I bought 2 sets and when I put one together I was not impressed at all. I'm only keeping them because my husband likes them, the height is perfect at my island, and they go with my décor (I guess they don't look that cheap). The cushions are soft but a little narrow. If you're super picky about furniture like me, try to bypass these stools and purchase a better quality. ... show more

Great set of chairs for the price
Style: Transitional
Great set of chairs for the price. Easy to put together. Just have to be patient and take your time. I took the advice of using wood glue and lock tight for the screws and bolts supplied to assemble the chairs. I took my time and assembled all six chairs in 4 hours time. Every piece was well made and fit together nicely. All parts were included with no missing pieces. I would recommend however that the manufacturer include a few extra screws and bolts just in case there maybe a problem or not having enough screws and bolts. These chairs are beautiful, well worth the price of roughly $50-$60 per chair. Thank you. ... show more

Seat cushions too small
You get what you pay for. While these stools are attractive and affordable, they are not terribly comfortable. The seat cushion is lightly padded and is too small. Petit would be a better definition. I am a full size adult man who enjoys a full size seat to sit on. These seats measure only 16" deep by 16" wide. My other dining room chairs measure a fuller 18" deep by 20" wide. That may not sound like much of a difference, but it results in a noticibly less comfortable dining experience. I find that I do not want to sit through a full meal on these new stools. I need a full size seat. So only two stars. ... show more

Great stools!
These stools are really nice looking. My husband is 235 lbs and they feel sturdy even to him. The padded high back is great for his bad back. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they are a bit tricky to assemble. The cross pieces for the sides come packaged together, and it is tough to figure out which one fits which side of which chair. We ordered two sets at the same time, and the color of the material matched perfectly. Took about two hours to assemble all four. Our visiting relatives were also very impressed with how comfortable these stools were, and are going to order some for themselves. Good value for the money. ... show more

Pretty dark seat color - way too dark from the pic. Picture shows it as ivory
Style: Transitional
Didn't like the color of the seat. It's way too darker than in the picture. Please correct it. Not sure how I will send this hefty thing back. Kind if stuck with it for now.
