was looking for a motion light that had a low profile and without one of those hideous, "bulby" motion detection contraptions attached to it. Also, wanted something that had a dusk till dawn sensor. Works great and was easy to install, it took about 15 minutes if that to take down the old light and install and caulk this one. It has brightness options which is nice, on the middle option it is an extremely bright light, which is great for thwarting any mischievous activity. Modern lights like this are expensive from high end companies. This light is just as fashionable and well built as those for a fraction of the cost. Easy to install on a pre-existing inset electrical box with nothing more than a screwdriver. Being able to set the color temp is a great feature to match your other exterior lights. I prefer daylight at 5k. With 1000 lumen, it lights up my entire front yard as you can see from the picture. The only weird thing about the motion sensor is that it appears to have a resting period of about 15 secs. After the light turns off, it wont come on again with motion until it resets after about 15 secs. Not a deal breaker for me. Very pleased with this item. Something to keep in mind. It is not waterproof. There are gaps and holes in this unit so I dont think it will work in wet conditions. Mine is under the front porch overhang so it wont get wet but I can surmise if it was completely exposed to rain, it would fail ... show more

I really love this light, but to say that it had a "night" light is an understatement. The night light is as bright as a 60w bulb. So, I had to move it from the bathroom to a hallway. But, it does work great and it dies put out great light.

Have had these up 5 years set on dusk to dawn. Still look like new and work perfectly and the carriage lights on the front of the garage swelter in the Florida sun 8+ hours a day all year. Couldn't be happier with them

This light was very easy to install. And works as advertised. Be sure to choose the light that you want - the other choice is a dusk to dawn light that will stay on at all times after dark. The motion only light will only stay on if you toggle the light switch and it is dark out. And the light can not be turned on when it is light out. Was surprised how bright they are. I was going to get walkway lights in addition but found I didn't need them. Motion detection isn't ideal and the lights sometimes cycle off more quickly than I would like.
