I just wanted to put out my thoughts on the Cloud Energy GFA48V-105AH. Shipping was faster than expected. It took 5 days to reach me on the east coast from the west coast, even though the expected delivery date was 11 days after purchase. When the box arrived, it was packed very nicely using the kind of packing material that is the same consistency of a pool noodle. Everything had its own place and there was no damage. Very nicely done. They really seem to be take in account what golf cart consumers are looking for when building their products. The 250amp BMS with constant discharge 250A (400A for 35 seconds, 600A 3 seconds) is added bonus for my 400amp Alltrax Controller and D&D motor. This is the one with the ABS plastic shell, unlike others who glue theirs together, this one is screwed together like the metal shell ones. They have little plastic covers that go over the screw heads. The terminals where you attach power cable has 2 screw holes each for both positive & negative connections which is nice if you are attaching a lot of cables. My only complaint is that the battery doesn't have an on/off switch. Installation is pretty straightforward, on my Drive2, even though I just put it in the battery tray and used the ratchet straps tie downs to secure it. The display cable more than long enough to put just about anywhere on the cart. Performance is really good. According to the bluetooth app, I was pulling 219 amps from a dead stop just above the base of a very steep hill in my campground, and it pulled nicely with speed increasing all the way to the top. The instant power is so nice, pushing the cart to about 25mph, which is more than I would need. So far, with just a weekend of driving it, really pushing it to see if the battery would let me down, it came away with zero problems or hiccups. Very impressed with the product they are putting out, and hoping they stay around for a long time.

I purchased 48V(51.2V) 105AH LiFePO4 Lithium Golf Cart batter from Cloudenergy a little over a month ago. I am extremely pleased with size and performance as well ease of installation. The battery was installed into a 2022 ICON golf cart and the amount of power is impressive comparted to the wet batteries. The battery has a great monitoring app with a screen which is provided for monitoring which is easy to mounted to the cart. You may also use your phone to monitor battery performance and charging task. I'm also impressed the cost compared to other brands. I do love the advantage of minimum maintenance with no worrying of low water in battery cells. I'm glad I decided to change to LiFePO4 battery from Cloudenergy which also provide support with the programing setup with software iphone.

I must say it was love at first sight. I have had this in for a month now and not one complaint. This battery is amazing. I installed it on my 2010 Club Car. Very clean and versatile battery setup. Installed in a few hours. Very minimal modifications to my cart. The included plud adapter fit right in the factory hole and screwed in tight. Charger was amazing with no worries. All my friends love the display screen. And the best part about it all is no longer having to worry about charging every night. But the biggest part is the power improvement. This thing has brought this car to life. So much power and with the 250 amp bms you get more constant power delivery. This is actually cheaper in the long run than 6 new Trojan batteries. It will last the life of this cart easily. If your on the fence about Cloud Energy Lithium hopp off it and Buy this one now. Battery quality: Top Notch. Performance: Fastest and Quickest Takeoff

Purchased the 48v 105ah Cloudenergy battery for our 2012 EZGO TXT because I wanted to store it at our campground and have it there whenever we camped but there is no electricity in the storage area and wet cells with unpredictable weather don’t last terribly long without a trickle charge. I purchased from Cloudenergy because of the high number of consistently positive reviews, the battery arrived quickly and the installation went very smoothly and effortlessly after watching several videos. The final results have been impressive to say the least and my wife and I have not been disappointed. It holds a full charge for weeks on end in storage. The speed, sheer power and longevity of charge have all been stunningly good and given what I have experienced with this purchase I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again! Thank you Cloudenergy !

Super happy with the weight reduction, golf cart is much quicker. Wasn’t sure how it would perform since I do have a 600 amp controller, but it works great! I bought a 2021 Club Car Tempo 48v with 4 cheap 12v batteries in it. One of the batteries had a cell go bad so I knew it was time to upgrade to lithium. After much research, reading Amazon reviews, and watching YouTube videos I felt confident I could install myself and felt confident in this brand. I then narrowed this battery down to be best for me. I liked the 105ah over the 60ah option for runtime. Battery arrived on time and packaged well. Charged to full as directed and installed. The YouTube videos explaining how to remove the factory charger for a club car (removing three connections from electronics) were spot on and easy. Made minor plastic piece removal from battery tray with oscillating multi tool as research said I would need to. Battery now fits snug. Installed the included new charging port in same hole as factory charging port. Bought a voltage reducer seperate so that the 51.2 plus volts can be reduced to 12volts for headlights. Manual says to not run below 50 percent for first three charges. I ran it down to 52 percent for the first time over the course of 3 days of driving and used an gps tracking app to confirm that I drove it 30.1 MILES!!! Most of the time with my family of 4 on it (2 kids) and a small dog. In my case it didn’t improve speed (club car has to unlock higher speeds) but increased distance and consistent power with the higher power BMS and voltage that doesn’t drop and actually stays higher than advertised. The gauge on the dash is absolutely amazing to keep up with where the battery stands on percent, voltage draw, and estimated run time. I’m extremely thrilled with my experience so far and only concern is that it continues to be awesome without issues. When I registered it online to activate the 5 year warranty the company emailed me letting me know it was activated, and even asked if I installed it yet and how it was. This product has amazing reviews and I see why it does. I’ve bought from Amazon for years and never reviewed a product. The reviews on this product were so helpful and the product is so excellent I felt compelled to share my story to help others wanting to invest in a good battery. The only thing I could change is to straighten up my wiring a little, mostly from battery to voltage reducer and disconnecting everything from the battery and putting everything back more orderly in the process. When I charged it today from 52 to 100 percent with the on board charger it was quiet and took about 3 hours. I also need to make a slot in the battery compartment in front of battery so that I can run one of the supplied straps around the battery and tighten it to tray floor, even though it is currently not moving, just to be safe. Hope this is helpful. I’m not an expert I learned a ton in this process that allowed me to install alone without issue.

I purchased the Cloudenergy 48V(51.2V) 105AH LiFePO4 Lithium Golf Cart Battery to upgrade my 2022 Yamaha Drive2 AC PTVgolf cart from 48v lead acid batteries to a lithium battery system. The Cloudenergy Lithium battery arrived a week earlier than promised and was packaged extremely well so that there was no damage. All parts and accessories were included and present in the package. The documentation and quick start guide were sufficient for me to understand what I needed to do for the installation, although I did research other sources such as Youtube videos to get an idea as to issues that might be specific to my Yamaha cart. The installation went very well once I removed the old lead acid batteries and cut out the battery tray ribs that are in the Yamaha battery tray (the battery tray in other makes of golf carts might be different). Once the old batteries were removed and the tray trimmed to accept the Lithium battery, placement of the new battery and charger was straight forward - I only need to drill two mounting holes for the hold down bracket (note: I elected not to use the Cloudenergy supplied tie down straps because I decided it would be easier to install a metal bracket similar to automotive battery installations. the tie down straps would probable have worked just fine, but I would have had to install some sort of metal tie downs to secure the straps to the tray). I used self tapping screws to secure the charger directly to the battery tray. I installed the new charging port in the same location as the old charging port, and simplified the installation by using a Dremel tool to modify the old charging plastic boot so the it would accept the new charging port assembly. That eliminated the need to drill new mounting holes in the metal cart panel (the new charging port has a different hole pattern than the existing port). Since I was not changing the configuration of the motor controller or adding any new accessories to the cart, all electrical hook ups were pretty much the same as what was on the lead acid system. I did disconnect the old charge inciting gauge on the dash as it would no longer be functional. The installation for the LCD panel was also straight forward as I simply ran the cable from the battery compartment to the dash by routing it underneath the cart body along with the other cable runs. I drilled three holes (two for mounting and one to run the cable through) into the plastic dash in what I thought was a strategic location. The lithium battery is a game changer for the golf cart. It has more acceleration (note: my Yamaha is a PTV so it will do about 28 mph with lead acid batteries) and it might have a higher top speed now...I haven't checked that yet), and a much longer range. Not having to mess around with the distilled water mumbo jumbo and other maintenance will be another big plus. All in all, I am very pleased with the upgrade and the Cloudenergy system. I have only made some short trips around the community so far, and have not tested the range capability to any real extent. That said, the LCD indicates that those trips have only taken the battery down to 90% so I suspect that the range will prove to be much greater than the lead acid batteries. Only time will tell how everything else holds up.
