Are these clipper guards compatible with all Wahl clippers? No. Our guards fit only blade sizes **1.8” x 1.5” (45mm x 38mm). Not all Wahl clipper blades share these dimensions. If your model isn’t listed or you’ve replaced your blade, please measure your blade size before purchasing to ensure compatibility. Are these clipper guards compatible with other brands? They also fit Babyliss Pro FX787. If your blade size is 1.8” x 1.5” (45mm x 38mm), they'll likely fit too. However, brands like Andis and Oster typically use larger blades (1.8” x 1.6” / 45mm x 41mm), so our guards will not be compatible with those. What’s the difference between Nylon and ABS clipper guards? Nylon guards are softer and provide a gentler, smoother feel on the scalp. ABS guards are high-strenght and more impact-resistant. Both materials have their own advantages depending on your preference. Should I choose the color-coded guards or the classic black ones? Color-coded guards help quickly identify sizes during use. Black guards offer a simple, classic look and hide dirt better. Choose based on your preference and needs. My clipper model is listed as compatible, but the guards don’t fit. Why? This often happens if you’ve replaced the blade. A slightly different size or thicker blade can affect the fit. We recommend verifying your current blade dimensions before buying the guards.
