I’ve never seen a furniture piece where the screw heads protrude from the top. The table top is intended to have a record player on it and with the screws the record player cannot even sit level. The instructions are incorrect and swap the top and bottom piece several steps into assembly. The fasteners are very poor quality as well and difficult to assemble. This is the worse piece of furniture I have ever purchased online in both design/quality.

Taking everything out of the box, I was intimidated by the number of screws this thing came with. This thing really has a lot of screws. Having said that, the instructions are drop-dead simple and while yes, there are a lot of things that need to be screwed into place, once you get going, it's not too bad. Just the same, I'd plan on spending about an hour on assembly just to be safe. The only thing I'd caution is to look very carefully at the way the light strip goes and notices how the power cable doubles back. You want to screw the little mount holders in with it like that so that it goes back to the middle. I failed to realize this thinking there would be some opening off to the side only to discover once nearly fully assembled that there wasn't. After re-studying the instructions, I realized I would have to completely remove the top and then unscrew two of those brackets to then make this work like it was supposed to. That part was a hassle but once done, everything else was smooth sailing. My main point is, learn from my stupidity and don't repeat it. Anyway, it fits a standard turnstile and two bookshelf speakers on the top with zero issue and holds plenty of records and other stuff below, while looking very cool.

The media could not be loaded. All parts were accounted for! Predrilled holes ensure that no mistakes or mishaps accrued during assembly, took about 20 min. Once unboxed to assemble. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN SCREWS If using an electric driver adjust settings to ensure a good firm seating of the screws but not enough to strip them! Solid unit.

Went together well, unfortunately all of the screws are exposed, so there are black screws all across the top, and the thing is so small that a stand alone record player is too big to sit on it

I love this thing. It's so cool and super functional and I love the mid-century modern style. The top holds my record player and speakers and the amp and the storage shelves are GREAT for holding my ever growing vinyl collection. I used to keep the record player on top of my chest of drawers and the vinyls in a little cabinet and it wasn't ideal so I wanted one piece of furniture that could do it all and this was it! I love the led lights too, that's a nice touch. AND an attached power outlet--such a great idea!
