I was surprised at how big this steamer was and was ready to return it, then decided to give it a try. It really works very well -- heats quickly, easy to use and effective in removing wrinkles. That said, I was hoping for a smaller size. This steamer takes up a lot of space in a carry-on bag, but I think it's worth it.

Compact and heats up quickly

I have a very large steamer that will perform many tasks including steaming clothes. I love it, but it's the size of a suitcase, takes several minutes to heat up, and isn't designed for a short, quick spot of steam. I decided to try something smaller for the many times that I would just like to steam a single garment before it's worn, so I ordered this hand steamer. This machine is designed for small, quick jobs, and it performs very well at those tasks. For the times that you pull your shirt or pants out of the closet or the suitcase, and you need a quick press before you wear them, this product works really well. One of the best benefits of this steamer is that it's ready to use seconds after it's plugged in. It heats quickly. There are no pressure gauges or long waits. Put the water in the tank, plug it in, and hold it in your hand until the light on the steam button changes from flashing to solid, and you're ready. Press and hold to control the steam, or press twice to get a steady stream of steam. I steamed a polyester shirt with about half a tank of water, and it was done before my other machine would have been set up and ready to plug in. It removed wrinkles from most of the garments I steamed while they were on the hanger. Heavy linen needed to lay on the ironing board, and an iron seemed easier to use at that point. But this steamer is small enough that it does hold an advantage over an iron on an ironing board when you're trying to work in difficult corners of a garment or straightening embellishments. The product is built well and works well for a variety of steaming needs. It's very easy to use. The handle folds out for use, then folds back in for compact storage. It comes with a storage bag. The tank is twist and turn with a small opening to add or empty the water. The tank is a good size for the product. If it was smaller, it would need to be refilled too often. If it was bigger, it would add more weight in your hand. It heats up very quickly. You can have a wrinkly shirt ready to wear in a matter of minutes.

This is a great little steamer. It is extremely easy to use and has some nice features. The steamer arrives in a folded up position. When the handle is pulled down, it looks like a hair dryer. It is very lightweight and small, but powerful. It has a long purple cord which is helpful to reach items being steamed. A plastic water tank is on the back side of the steamer. The water tank is easy to reach when the steamer is unfolded. With a slight rotation, the tank is easy to take on and off. The water tank has a silicone plug that you lift on and off to put the water in it. It is very simple and easy to use. The water tank is not huge but its size is on par with other steamers. It easily did a very wrinkly shirt and pair of pants and there was a little water left over. To use the steamer, simply plug it in and use the on-off button on the handle. Once it is turned on, you will hear it working. Steam will soon begin to come out full force. The steam was hot but it did not burn me when I got too close to it. The steamer worked well to get the wrinkles out of several shirts and pants I tested it with. While the results weren't as crisp as an iron, it did the job I needed it to do. It is definitely a lot easier than getting out an iron and ironing board! I am still surprised at how powerful the steamer is considering it is so lightweight. Another nice feature is how the steamer flips up for storing. It can also be used in an upright position. It's very versatile and is way better than a steamer I previously used. Also this steamer comes with a nice bag for storage and for travel. If you need a steamer that is portable, lightweight, and does a good job of reducing wrinkles in a variety of fabrics - this is a good option.

This steamer is ideal for a traveler. It’s light weight easy to use and store. It came with a storage bag as well. The water valve isn’t that big so one fill was equal to me steaming one shirt.
