These tarps work for what I need them for. We have a deck with an overhang, I put these up in the winter to help block the wind (and snow) on our deck and patio door. They are a little noisy when the wind is wippin (which tends to be all the time in the country) but hardly noticeable in the house. Our patio door would frost up on the inside (I know, we need to replace the door) but these seem to keep the frost away and no more drafts from the door or freezing floor in front of it. Not sure how they work for other applications, I secure these with screws through the eyelets and put a zip tie around the screw and eyelets to keep it tight all winter. I do reinforce the corners with gorilla duct tape just to be sure it holds up all winter. It is nice they are clear, we can still see the driveway from the house.

My reason for this was not exactly what most people may use it for. I needed something to fit my balcony as a "privacy type screen" that was see through so the management staff here can still see the balcony. This was so perfect in size and texture, weatherproof, pet proof for my cat too cause she loves to go on the balcony and I worried she would jump off through the fence. The price was great too for the quality, which is also great.

You get what you pay for. Tarp was good however, it is not as durable as described. Once the win picked up, it began ripping at the seams even though it was mounted as recommended. Good price for a tarp but did not work for the project at hand which was "enclosing" the sides on a porch. Would purchase again but not for the same use.
