I was looking for a divider in my garage so when its cold I wouldnt have to heat the whole garage this sheer but thick tarp was the most inexpensive solution I could find. It works great at maintaining the warmth on one half of my garage and also its sheerness allows light through from the garage door side but it is sturdy enough to maintain warmth when needed. Using it as a water proof cover for my van that has roof leaks. Seems to be pretty sturdy. I will see how long it lasts compared to the cheaper blue tarps that seam to disintegrate in one season. Used to shelter vegetable plants from Summer storms. Heavy enough to survive; no tears, and grommets allow one to secure to roof of shade structure. Right now it's not needed as cooler weather arrived.

Heavy duty tarp, but as with most tarps only the 4 corners have reinforced grommets. It would be nice if they reinforced the middle grommets too. One grommet tore out after only 24 hours of use, with light to moderate winds of about 15 knots. Especially at the steep price ($74 for 12x14') I hoped it would hold up a bit better. As others noted, you can't see through this tarp, though it does let light through. It would be more accurate to call it opaque rather than clear. It's definitely not clear if I can't see something 10 ft on the other side of it. ... show more
