I was a little hesitant about this purchase - buying any furniture on-line is something I’m not usually that psyched about, but it was also the low price. I just couldn’t see this being that well-made for how cheap it is! I am so glad I got this frame! It came quickly - free shipping, an added bonus! What was interesting is this giant box that was basically the size and width of the headboard showed up... I panicked thinking I obviously mis-read something and only ordered a headboard, but all of the parts were cleverly stored inside the headboard. It zips open in the back, and the whole frame, feet, side rails etc were tucked inside. I consider myself very “handy” - my husband took one look at all the parts and said he had to go mow the lawn. There are definitely a lot. But everything you need is included. Where we had just moved into a new house it was easy for me to lay it all out in an empty bedroom and get it together, but you will want some space to lay everything out to see it easier. It took me just under an hour to assemble and put our mattress on top. The frame is super stable, doesn’t wiggle or move at all when you get in and out of bed, or our 80lb dog jumps up on the mattress. I am really impressed with how tightly everything fits together, it seems well-designed and sturdy. It’s also very attractive - I love the brushed heather gray color. It can match with just about any linens etc I want to use. I have a solid-wood frame in our guest bedroom that was mine from before we were married that was roughly $1200... and is not nearly as stable as this bed. Granted it’s 15 years old, but for a fraction of the price this looks much nicer and I love that we don’t have to buy a box spring. If anything changes I’ll ceftainly update this review but we are very happy with it so far.

Before You Read: If this helps anyone out there I am 245 lbs and I am a lady and I typically sleep alone. Hopefully that helps anyone who is concerned about weight limits and such. I actually really like this bed frame and I am pleasantly surprised! I saw some reviews about the headboard being short and I was a little weary. But after it's all together I actually love the way it looks and honestly I prefer the head board the way it is. If you are purchasing a mattress as well, I paired it with a 12" Zinus memory foam mattress. As you can see in the photos the mattress covers almost half the head board but I really don't mind. (For some reason I can't post my photos.) The frame seems nice and sturdy so far. Seems to stay in place if I toss, turn, or make sudden movements. Overall, I like the look of the bed and it seems sturdy so far. Now for the assembly, it was pretty straight forward and simple. They provided me with one sheet of instructions with detailed pictures and descriptions of what to do and how to do it. I still had my dad help me, but I'm pretty sure I could've done it on my own as well. All the products arrived in perfect condition. Nothing was broken, scratched, torn, or frayed. Pretty much everything is self-explanatory and easy to identify. You will definetly more than one person to carry it to your room, but you can definetly build it yourself. They give you tools to build it along with the necessary screws and they give you extra screws just in case. Good product so far and will update as time goes on.

4.5 stars- Overall I think this headboard and frame are of excellent value. There are some minor details that reveal that it is not of the highest quality, however it seems to be very sturdy and well worth the money. Some of the edges did not line up flush (I am a perfectionist so many may not have noticed) and one of the plastic feet had a small crack in it. There are plenty of supports to distribute weight and slats to support the mattress. The slats are easy to install. They are connected together and have Velcro to secure them to the frame to make it even more stabile. It was easy to put together and the directions seemed simple enough. It was heavy enough to be difficult to move by myself, but not impossible. I used pieces of PVC pipe to roll it on to make it easier. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an attractive and sturdy bed at a great value.

Long story short: the box is heavy. You'll need a second person to move it or to open the box, unzip the headboard and take everything out piece by piece to make the task more manageable, unless you're able to lift nearly 100 pounds with ease. Everything included: headboard, 4 legs that screw/twist on (2 for the headboard, 2 for the foot board), 4 side pieces (two for left and 2 for the right side respectively), footboard, two stabilizers/legs for the midde (of the left and right side), cross pieces, two allen wrenches (one big, one small), five screws, velcroed slats, instructions I'm not a great builder (ask my sister; I offered to build her old daybed and completed the task upside down, only to have to undo the whole thing and call my roommate to do it.) Nor am I good with long detailed instructions, however I was boggled when I saw how simple the instructions that were included were. I thought: this can't be it. (It was, and it was all I needed) All the pieces of the bed come with the screws already attached and all you have to do is loosen it with one of the two included allen wrenches, hook the pieces over the screws (the hooks should be facing down with the velcro lining on top) and tighten them. All together it took me about 2 hours to assemble but after an hour it was clear where everything went (it probably would have been faster with two people but I did it by myself.) The crosshatch pieces are the only ones that didn't come with the screws already in but the five needed screws are included in the plastic bundle with the allen wrenches. After assembling I rolled the slats on and it's really cool how there's velcro on both the slats and the bed frame sides where the slats sit so there's NO CHANCE OF YOUR BED MOVING! And that's just awesome! Especially because I have a memory foam bed that would otherwise slip and slide or fall between any moving slats. A box spring is definitely not necessary and my mattress being 12" already made the bed pretty high profile (any higher and I'd be sitting at or above my window.) *So in summary: this is the easiest to put together bed I've ever encountered, and if I can do it, I guarantee you can. The whole thing is of really high quality; the headboard alone made two of my roommates jealous.

I am super happy with the bed! It is very sturdy, functional and stylish. Some highlights & info: • The frame sits high enough off the ground to provided plenty of room under the bed, to put under bed storage boxes. • Assembly was very easy. There were 2 of us putting it together and it took us about 45 min to assemble (55min including unboxing time). There were 2 allen wrenches (4mm & 5mm), included. We actually used 2 of our own, as well, so we wouldn't have to share (which made the process much quicker). All hardware was included and the assembly was much easier than I had anticipated it would be. Instructions are pictures, not words; but it was so simple... words weren't needed. The slats are attached together with a long velcro strips, which made keeping them in place super easy (such a simple, but very functional idea). • The design is very sturdy. Even when my son jumped onto the bed, there was no swaying, loose or rickety feeling. • The headboard, siderails and footboard are exactly as pictured. I'm really happy with how stylish it is. The product, especially for the price, is great! • The only downside I can find is that I have hit my toes on the side middle support a couple times. It is square, which makes for a painful moment (and maybe a few swear words, lol). I think, if the support were rounded it might be better and kinder on my pinky toe until I figure out I should quit kicking it. 😆 All in all ... I'm really pleased with the purchase. I highly recommend!

I recently purchased this bed with high hopes, but sadly, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The major issue I encountered was with the bed’s foots, which were not aligned properly and appeared to be broken or disbalanced. As a result, the bed couldn’t stand straight, making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Upon assembly, I noticed that the foots were visibly misaligned, causing the bed frame to wobble and sway even with minimal movement. I double-checked the instructions and made sure all parts were properly fitted, but the problem persisted. The instability of the bed made it uncomfortable and unsafe to use, leaving me with no choice but to discontinue its use. Unfortunately, this flaw completely overshadowed any positive aspects of the bed. I had high expectations for a sturdy and reliable product, but it failed to meet even the basic requirements of functionality. Additionally, I must say that the overall quality of the materials seemed subpar, which might have contributed to the foots’ misalignment and eventual breakage. I reached out to customer service in hopes of resolving the issue, but their response was slow and unhelpful. It’s disappointing to invest hard-earned money in a product that falls short of expectations, and the lack of adequate support from the seller only added to my frustration. I would advise potential buyers to steer clear of this bed and consider other options available on the market. It’s crucial to invest in a bed that not only provides comfort but also guarantees stability and durability. Regrettably, this particular bed failed to deliver on these essential aspects.

Exactly what we needed. First off...bed bugs hatch in 6-10 days. If people start getting bites 2 and 3 months later...you may want to check your other beds. Now I was surprised at the secret zipper in the back. So cool. I know my son will love that. My husband and I are not little people and that bed didn't move! It is very sturdy if you actually tighten the screws and bolts. Directions are super simple. You will need a small drill or powerful electric screwdriver to properly secure the slats. Directions are simple and I did it myself in about 45 minutes. The color was dark gray just as expected. Does it smell?? Well yes a little but it was made in a factory and shipped in layers of plastic, styrofoam and cardboard, last I checked those are not odorless. Spray it with febreze and let it air out. It has been 2 days and the smell is almost gone and I spray it 3 times a day all around and sprayed inside the headboard before I closed it up. Not rocket science. So in conclusion, great value, sturdy, easy to assemble and as described. And FYI I am super picky about things but also know price equals quality. This one surprised me.
