This window AC unit works really well. However...It's loud as hell - I don't care because I run it in an unused bedroom with the furnace blower on recirculate. Yes, that works. You'd be surprised how well that works for a two story built in 1926. I've had others that worked OK, others not so much. I run these window AC units until they die. FIRST-the package was extremely damaged. Second the units coils in the back were damaged so not all air flow will work well. Third THE WIFI IS IMPOSSIBLE to get to work and it's the ONLY reason I paid this kinda $ for a no name brand!!!! On the plus side so far it cools the house and room. It has an auto mode which again would be great if there was a way to get it to work. It's supposed to do what's needed based on the rooms reading. For example switch from dry, fan or cool but there is a 2nd mode that just switches the fan and no clue how to control it so what's the point! I saw a lot of plastic inside. If it wasn't going to be 102 here this week I would have returned it. If you don't care about any of this it does cool very well though Without access to the app the display does not tell you what the temp of the room is! Only what it's set too! So frustrating! This was a big expense for me. I pray it last more then 1 summer and some way I can connect this WiFi because it's a must in my place. I can't afford to run it all day, I have pets I need to know what's going on. This is very disappointing. I give it 5 if it was a $100 cheaper. I give it a 3 only because it blows cold air and has potential for options. Maybe deserves a 2 because of the condition it came in. Go for a known brand and don't have it shipped that's my advise..my lg thin Q lasted many years and the WiFi was so simple and it showed you the temp on display mode did not have auto mode but who cares if you don't know how to enable anything. This unit is worth about $125.00 max without the features working.im sorry to the sellers, you want to credit me some $ back that would be the right thing to do, but not in this world today. Who knows if these units are even new. It's o ly 45 ponds for a reason. I expect this unit to die right after the warranty ends which I also can't find how to register it. Bought 2 of these and in combination with a smaller air conditioner we already had, my whole house went from almost 90 degrees down to 72. When we adjust the temperature for night time and use eco mode, they seem to actually be lowering my power bill according to my daily emails and keeping my house very comfortable. ... show more
