We love this so far. Extremely easy to put up and take down. Very sturdy, very roomy, very well designed and manufactured. Expect to use this a lot. Can't rate water resistance because it's not yet been in any rain. All campers near us wanted to check it out and sit inside. Wind panels came in handy and really work for both wind and/or sun. Do read the instructions before putting up or taking down - makes it easy. Up in less than a minute.

I bought this for protection from wind/rain/ sun during car camping. I highly recommend the side panels. They can be adjusted to cover many different ways. It works perfectly as a kitchen area to keep cool and sheltered from bad weather. Takes a bit of practice to set up. I found that if I stake down 2 corners first it’s super easy. I also attached extra guylines to the handles on the side to prevent them from popping in during gusty winds. It also packs up well as the storage bag is large enough to put it back into, I left the side walls attached and it still fit! The 6x6 size is perfect for 1 or 2 people with camping chairs and a small table. Get the 12x12 for a family or lots of friends. Excellent product!

I was worried at first that I would not be able to set this bigger clam up my myself as I had experience with the five sides clam but wanted a bigger one. I actually had zero issues setting it by myself so I was relieved. I’m only 5’4” tall and was able to get the roof up without help also. I did order two packages of walls to go on this clam and when I received them the Velcro didn’t line up to attach them. I read in reviews this happened to a few other people but some of them sewed Velcro ect. To resolve the issue. I did not do this. I called quikset and they answered on the first call and told me I got the newest version of the 12x12 clam and received the walls for the older version. They immediately sent me six new walls which I received in two days along with a return label for the walls that didn’t work. So they sent me new ones before returning the others so I could use my clam and not wait for them to get the first order and extend the time it would take to get me the correct ones. I was so impressed with this and their fantastic customer service. When fedex brought the new walls I opened the box and got a return label for the wrong walls and handed the driver the return walls because quikset set this transaction up to be smooth and no chance of failure. I love the extra space inside this clam. It’s is very long in the storage case because it is so big but it’s not that heavy so it is not an issue to carry it or store in my motorhome basement. I’m happy that the quality is so great and the customer service is above and beyond any other company I’ve dealt with for online purchases. I also got a rain fly and it fits perfect.

So far...I love it. I haven't camp with it yet but I did set it up and tear it down in my garage by myself. I foundbit very easy to put up, take down and get it back in the bag. I'm a 65 year old woman and 5'7" tall. Had I been much shorter I may have needed a stool to pop the center up. When I received the product it had been previously opened and the carry case had a small rip. I was going to send it back but they offered the option of a 25% discount to keep it as is. I sewed the rip up with upholstery thread and so far it's holding up fine.

Overall we really love the Clam! It's a good screen tent and worth the investment. Positives: It's pretty easy to set up with two people. (make sure you follow the directions the first time so you don't open it inside-out) It's really sturdy and well made. It's big enough to fit over a pretty large picnic table. The flap at the bottom is nice and large so you can position it over any gaps in the ground. The zipper on the door is really nice and sturdy and easy to open Negatives: It's definitely not water proof. It's water resistant but after a pretty good soaking, we could see it was leaking where the poles touched the ceiling. This is not a deal breaker for us since we are aware it's made more to keep out bugs and sun. (which is does very well) The panels that came in the bundle we bought were not quite right. First, there were six panels and there are only 5 sides that have velcro spots to hang a wind panel. Second, the velcro tabs on the panels did not line up with the velcro spots on the tent along the top of the panel. There were four velcro tabs at the top and only three on the actual tent where they should go. I had to take the middle two off the panels and re-sew the middle one on each to match the location of the velcro on the tent.

We have had our quick set gazebo for about a year. We camp a lot, so this is stored with our camping gear in a open air utility trailer. It is exposed to the elem ta, even when stored. With that said, this thing is still going strong. We just got back from two nights at a remote beach location where this gazebo was our only shelter from the sun, wind rain and all the biting flying things Florida has to offer. It did great! The panels are lightweight but provide excellent protection from wind. We kayaked camped ad usually need light gear for that but we splurged on weight by bringing this and not a single regret was had. It’s super easy set up and take down means when we get home from a trip it only takes a sec to put it back u and rinse off the salt spray and sand. One of the best pieces of gear we have.
