  • A high quality product, very spacious, easy to install.
A high quality product, easy to install, very spacious. It is protective from regular rain and sun and of course insects. Flaps covering mesh walls do keep the wind out.(though this may not always be to your advantage see below) Tips if you use it in places if the weather gets bad. This is our second Clam purchase. Our first one did break but I think we were asking more from it than it was designed to do. We camp on our land on a hill that can receive heavy rain fall and 70 mile an hour winds. We used to leave the Clam up when we were not using it hoping it would withstand the elements while we were not there. Inevitably, the combination of rain and wind would make the Clam collapse in on itself. After learning this we do a few things: 1) make sure to stake down all sides not just the floor and vertex where there is a ring with string. 2) if we are experiencing heavy winds we open up the the material flaps (lack of a better term) and let the wind run through through the screens walls. The top will still provide protection from the sun or rain. 3) there is a vertical pole that is attached by Velcro to a diagonal pole near the door. This is an important structural pole. It will help a lot in the bad weather. 4) we have played around with a center pole to keep the center from collapsing in the combination of heavy rain and wind but I think really staking down lines connected to stress points work best. The reason we try do hard to make it work is because it is a great product and we want it to work for us in the bad weather. You could even use it as a tent not just a gazebo. ... show more

  • Easy set up and sturdy
I have been using this for years now. It does have some mild wear and tear but with how long I've had it I would expect that. It is extremely easy for me to set up and tear down by myself (im a 5 foot tall woman)

  • Excellent product. This model has the removable floor in it.
Nice and easy to set up. This model has the removeable floor in it. Easily accommodates 2 large adult cots with plenty of room to spare.

  • Easy, fast, versatile
I love it. Super easy and fast to set up. The built in walls zip down, and the included tarp floor has Velcro on it to convert it to a tent. It's the fifth screen house we've bought over the years, and is the best!

  • It's a keeper
The media could not be loaded. Setup was a breeze after watching a YouTube video. I staked it down inside and at the window points, and had it set up for almost 2 weeks at a campground. The first few days were windy, and it collapsed almost every day. However, it was an easy pop back up. Neighboring campers lost their ez-up in the wind, so I ended up better. Even in a hard rain after collapse it wasn't too wet inside. It stayed up well in a steady rain with no wind. I love the window covers attached in this model, makes storage easy. I added carabiners to my tie-downs for easy removal to put the window cover down. I'm not sure I'll ever use the floor in this model. I do not trust using it as a sleep in camping tent, because it collapses in slight wind. It is fantastic for your outside space while camping though, and the enclosed walls and zip up door made me feel like my things were more secure. ... show more

  • Serves multiple purposes!!
I do not usually write reviews but for the true RVers or campers out there this product is great, and I want to share! We use it for my husband to watch his football games and chill in so that I have the RV to myself when working or cleaning. We store items we do not want to leave outside in the open, has room for his gravity chair and the two-seater camping chair. If you want to use it for sleeping it is big and comfy enough to set up air mattresses and plenty of room left over. We got the one with the floor but still put it on top of a tarp for extra protection from the ground and rains. A little bit of water got in the front door when it rained due to how we set it up but a towel at the entrance stops it all, so far, we went through 20 mph winds with no issues, and we do not even have all of the tie downs in place. A little space heater keeps the cold out even with the wind and it being in the low 40s. It is very combatable with our dog fence as you can see in the pictures, we bring the fence up to either side of the tent opening and use large clamps to secure it to the poles that keep the door up, it actually gives added stability to the Clam and the dog can go from RV to yard to Clam no problems! What about assembly you ask?? Ok so I am 53-year-old female, and no I am not athletic in any way, even with my health issues I was able to set this up by myself in about 30 mins the 1st time taking it out of the box! Takes my husband and I together about 15 mins, same with taking it down. It is well worth the money, you can get it cheaper without the floor, but I would suggest a tarp on the inside that is big enough to bring up on the inside a few inches to keep rain and wind out. The floor that comes with it has Velcro all the way around to keep it secure to the inside of the Clam walls. This product is as advertised!! ... show more
