Super simple assembly, but my hydraulic button in my first desk was broken/defective. The hydraulic system wouldnt raise or lower. Amazon sent me to Claiks customer service, they requested the order number and a video of the issue, and replied within 1 day that they would be replacing the faulty desk and ship it directly to me. They were lovely to work with. To note: it is a good value for the price, The wheels are adequate. It’s also not super sturdy. But is strong enough for my laptop and a large drink, but you can’t rest body weight on it, which is simply due to the U shape design, it can’t be helped. White melamine wiped clean easily. The desk arrived very securely packaged. It took a bit of extra effort to extract the mobile desk from the packaging, but I appreciate that the desk was well protected during transit. The desk is sturdy and easy to use. I don't use it like a medical cart that one would wheel around. Instead, I move it occasionally. For my use case, it works wonderfully well. The desktop (bamboo) is attractive and well finished, with no chips, nicks, or other imperfections. It is a convenient size for my laptop PC and there is room on the side for my mouse. Raising can be quicker than one might expect so keep some downward pressure on the top when you release the side control. The only thing wrong with the desk is not related to the design or functionality of it. The handle to tilt the top was broken when I removed the desk from the box. The part that is broken off is not in the box, so it must have gone into the package that way. This doesn't affect functioning but I have to reach farther around the top to change the angle of the desktop. This would be a five-star desk except for the damaged part that makes it more difficult to use. ... show more

I am an elementary teacher. I was so excited to use this in my classroom. Researched reviews, had a teammate recommend this particular one. Got it for Christmas, put it together and it was pretty wobbly! I have checked every screw and bolt, they are all tight. It appears to be wobbly at the base. Can't return it, don't have the box and don't want to take it apart. Very disappointed, was so excited to have it for my classroom. I don't think it will last long. Update I’ve had it for a couple months and it is not moving up and down correctly! Help! Also it is leaking grease, not happy!!! ... show more

This standing desk took about 5 minutes to set up (you just have to screw in a few parts, super easy). It was exactly what I was looking for, something portable and spacious for my work space. The desk goes vertical via hydraulics system which was pretty cool. You just have to use a lever to adjust the height and tilt the board (like an office chair). Overall, solid piece and satisfied.     • Pneumatic Pressure Lift Doesn't Work TWICE.

I really wanted to like this product. My first one came in, wouldn't raise. There was a manufacturing malfunction and it was assembled incorrectly. I reached out to the company and they were so quick to fix the problem- sent me a new one within a week. HOWEVER, this one was ALSO manufactured incorrectly. There is no way for the handle to trigger the button for the pneumatic lift. So now, I've had two of these and neither one of them have worked the way I need them to. I will say other than this- the quality is great. The wheels move super smoothly and the table top is the perfect size. My only complaint (other than the fact the penumatic pressure lift doesn't work) is that the table top is slanted. Either way, I'm going to have to just eat the cost and order a new desk from another company as this one will severe me absolutely no purpose as work. ... show more

I work from home sometimes and have been searching for something like this. It is going to make WFH much more comfortable than sitting at my dining table. It is larger and heavier than I anticipated. Out of the box it was a bit stiff and difficult to unfold, but it was much easier the second time. It’s very solidly built with quality materials and attention to detail (which explains the price tag). I could see it being used as someone’s main/only desk if they have limited space. When in its lowest position, I need to be sitting upright near the edge of my sofa with the desktop tilted down slightly for it to be at the right height for me. When in its highest position, the desktop is at chest height when I’m standing up, and I’m 5’4” (a tall person could use it as a standing desk). I love how easy it is to adjust to any height or tilt position with just the two levers underneath. I’m actually looking forward to using it for work, although the first thing I used it for was dinner in front of the TV, haha. I wasn’t sure where I was going to store it when it wasn’t being used, but I found a great spot behind a chair where it fits perfectly. If I’m being really picky, I only have two issues. I wish it was slightly shorter when in the lowest position, and I wish my mouse didn’t slide off when the desktop is tilted down. ... show more
