I have been taking Bergamot for some time now. In my previous review I stated my cholesterol numbers were improving. They remain very good along with the statin my doctor prescribed long ago. I just wanted to recommend to others who are having difficulty lowering their cholesterol, try Bergamot. Everyone is different when it comes to tolerating medications or herbal remedies. I don't tolerate the two capsules per day because my skin breaks out from too much citrus. I've been this way since I was a child. The one capsule per day seems to have the desired effect. I'm very happy with my lipid panel numbers and CT scans for arterial plaque. Wishing you all good health.

I have been taking these for two months. Won’t know for another 3 months if they will lower cholesterol. Will update my post in the future. If they work as they should, they will be well worth the investment. No side effects experienced. Easy to swallow with no after taste.

I have almost finished one bottle of this product and had a cholesterol test done. It seems to be helping! My doctor commented that my numbers overall were better and I told her that I had been using this. I'm not the most dedicated vitamin/pill taker but I've consumed quite a bit of bottle #1. Before I purchased, I did my research and there seems to be some science that bergamot is beneficial. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose (and no one needs to be nasty if it doesn't help either). I told myself that if it didn't help lower my numbers there was no great loss that I tried it. However, my numbers were better and I had not made any significant dietary changes or exercised (wow, I'm bad!). I will definitely finish my first order and try a second shipment. If my numbers continue to improve I will be very happy and let you know! Next test is in 3 or 6 months so I'll be very interested in the result. The capsule size is a standard size and easy to swallow, no funky taste. Thank you for a great product!

I should begin by saying that I have Familial Hypercholesterolemia, a genetic disorder that 1 in 500 people have where my body makes high amounts of LDL, so my situation is different from someone that just has slightly elevated cholesterol. I took 5 pills a night for 3 months - I went through a bottle of 60 pills every 12 days for 90 days - and neither my LDL (the bad one) nor my total cholesterol went down at all; no effect whatsoever :-( I really had my hopes up but tonight I will start taking the Atorvastatin pills that I was hoping to avoid. My case is extreme; just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for others, but if you have Familial Hypercholesterolemia and you're hoping for an easy natural solution this isn't it.
