This is the best watch I have ever owned. Easy to read and keeps perfect time. I will admit it is challenging to set but there are many videos that walk you through it. I love the luminous hands for checking time in the dark at night, they are bright enough to easily tell the time. The sapphire crystal is much more scratch resistant than the regular crystal. This watch is absolutely amazing,I love it! The only challenge was setting the time, which took me almost a full day to figure out. Thankfully, I found a helpful YouTube tutorial, and I finally got everything set up correctly. It was worth the effort, and I’m very happy with my purchase.

After my wife purchased my very first Citizen watch for me (Eco-Drive P-CAT) for my birthday this past March, I fell in love with Citizen. So much so I started looking at other Citizen watches to purchase and I came across this model (Promaster Skyhawk which is also an Eco-Drive) in which I purchased this and it arrived soon after. Like my first Citizen watch, it was quite difficult to set the time especially since it did not come with instructions. However I was able to watch youtube videos on how to set this watch just as I have done before with my first citizen watches and was successful in setting this watch. Just like with my first Citizen watch, this watch blew me away. My Promaster is slight bigger than my P-Cat yet because it is made from Titanium, it is noticeably lighter than my P-CAT. This watch is very light on my wrist and very comfortable to wear not to mention the technology in this watch is outstanding. You cannot go wrong with this watch but then again it is a Citizen watch so you can’t go wrong if you go with Citizen period. Beautiful watch. I am looking foreard to purchasing my next Citizen Watch. ... show more

Very nice, well crafted watch. Impressive, to say the least. The issue I have with it is that the case is larger than I expected (it is easy to read), but the stem digs into my wrist, making it uncomfortable to wear. There were no instructions with it and the online instructions at the Citizen website are somewhat complex. It still doesn't indicate daylight savings time after several days. ... show more

    • Nice design. Unfortunately the crown and stem were faulty.
I really liked the watch until 10 months in, with the exception being the annoyance of having to switch between calendar mode and dual time mode; you can't display both simultaneously . After 10 month the crown and stem completely disengaged from the watch when I pulled the crown as usual to adjust the mode. You would think this is covered by warranty. Not so. Citizen apparently exclude the crown from warranty (Seiko, their main competitor, does not), and therefore I was initially quoted over $350 to repair it. To me that is inexcusable, especially when a brief Google search shows others have had the same issue. My guess is that whatever internal part keeps the stem in place is of poor quality, and/or the need to frequently switch between calendar and world time modes inevitably wears out the part that holds the stem in place (in which case it is a design flaw). ... show more
