I am pleased with this small chainsaw. It does exactly what I desired it to do. However the batteries only lasted about 20-30 minutes with strong usage. I wasn't thrilled about there not being any oiler port. I have used many chainsaws and have always had some type of oiling port. Perhaps this is why they include 2 chains. However, I went ahead and placed chain oil on the bar and let it work into the chain. I believe it will last much longer that way. ... show more

Pulled it out of the box, checked the chain and tried it out. Worked like a charm! Had to tighten the chain after about six 3 to 4 inch branches (which is expected) and then continued. Light weight, rips right through the branches and kept going. Only used it the one time as I just got it. Will have to update after I’ve had it a while. Worked great! Happy with the saw and seems like a great buy! ... show more

I needed something to cut some thicker branches I couldn't get with my large lopper. I didn't want to accidentally cut off any of my limbs. This was a perfect solution. I didn't really need two batteries as I was tired of the job before the chainsaw.

This is a nice, compact size chainsaw. There were several things that I was impressed with before even trying it: (1) it comes with a nice hard-plastic case, (2) it includes safety equipment such as glasses and gloves, (3) it comes with 2x batteries for double the power and a charging cable, (4) it also comes with an extra chain just in case I break it some day. It's very user friendly, and the saw pivots several degrees which is helpful if you are cutting branches over your head. One item to be aware of is that the saw chain does not have self-oiling capabilities. Most large gas-powered saws contain an oil reservoir and the chain is lubricated as you are using the saw. You will need to manually oil the chain on this saw before and during use (and buy your own bar and chain oil separately). The manual states this, but it was something I didn't even think about before I started to use it. I plan to use this saw mostly for trail maintenance. I'll put it in a backpack (with the battery removed) and then use it when I'm out on a hike and come across a tree down on the trail. I got myself some bar and chain oil recommended for these little electric ones and biodegradable oil is best and got a precision point bottle and oiled top three and bottom three and did slow pulls to get it going great.

I bought this for my husband to use but I use it instead. It’s not going to cut a big tree down of course, but little bushes and such it works fine. It works good for a man or woman who wants to do light yard work and pruning. It’s lightweight, good for small hands and powerful to be battery powered and small. The battery didn’t last to long on my first use, however I didn’t charge it at all, took it straight out of the box and went to work. Good product for the price. ... show more
