This little gadget is about as plug-and-play as it gets. You stick a water line in, the solar panel powers the motor, and boom—your plants get watered. Two little metal probes act like plant lifeguards, shutting it off if the water runs out. The timer's super simple: choose 1-day or 3-day cycles, and 1, 5, or 10-minute watering bursts. Just plug it in, set it, and drop the drippers into your plants. That’s it. The instructions? More “Jinglish” than English—but honestly, you won’t need them. It’s quiet, low-power, and surprisingly, it even runs off my indoor plant light. So yes—it just works. Your plants will love it. You’ll barely lift a finger.

Instructions are the worst. You basically get a diagram. Mine isn't turning on. Do I need to put the things in the water to get it turned on? Do i need to charge it to get it to work? What's the siphon thing and where does it go. Just wasted roughly 10 minutes watching a bunch of useless videos. One was somewhat useful, but didn't cover the info I need. Not sure I'm going to keep this. I'll try charging it and see of it turns on and try to figure it all out. Not thrilled.

The product itself seems to work fine. The problem is the terrible instructions, including an inadequate video online. Those like me, who are not familiar with this type of setup, may struggle to get it going. There is also no guide to what you are setting it up to do. Trial and error.

The media could not be loaded. This saved me on vacation. You do need to have something large to hold water. i used a 5 gallon bucket. It was super simple to assemble and can water up to 15 plants. I was out of town for 8 days and this kept my plants thriving. there are different settings for how often you want it to water. I just left it running when i got back from vacation because my plants looked so good. The solar power works great. You can cut the tubing to the links you need.
