Using this alongside my old irrigation system. I like the auto water level shutoff feature. If you don't want to use it then you could just tape the two ends together and it will keep running as long as the timer goes.

This was incredibly easy to set up. Took maybe 10 minutes to do my whole garden. Time will tell which setting is best for my plants, but they give many different options so you can vary - mine's set to 5 min every 12 hours, may increase to 10 min every 12 hours due to the summer heat.
