    • QeeHeng Tortoise Lamp - good for small cage!
This is a cute lamp for a small cage of 10 gallons or less. I am using it on my baby land turtle I found on the street. She has been lying under the light so she does know it is there. The UVA provides the visual light and the UVB provides the ultraviolet-B light that helps your reptile absorb the calcium. I sprinkle retile calcium powder on her food. The power cord is long enough and thin but so far the cord stayed cool. It is easy to turn the light on or off using the power switch located on the cord. ... show more

    • Great lamp but lightweight power cord
This is a great lamp for my mini tortoise and I plan to take it traveling with us to help keep up her much-needed UVA/UVB rays. My only concerns are that the power cord is a very light weight wire. I will keep a close eye to make certain it does not heat up, before leaving it operating alone. Also (and not a problem), it should be noted that this lamp comes with a simple USB power connection. Most of us have plenty of USB power adapters, so this should be no problem. Just be prepared so you do not leave home without adding that one small piece of equipment. Over all, my tortoise is thrilled with the lamp and ran over to take place under her new spotlight! She is not a reptile that "needs" any heat lamps, just a consistent temperature in her terrarium. I was surprised at how much "sun basking" she seems to do. Keep an eye on it so you do not place it too close to your critter as it does put off some heat and could over heat your pet it not monitored. ... show more
