alright, if there's a typo, it's possibly from the mild vibration as I am currently sitting in the massager chair pad with high-intensity shoulder and back massaging. With heat! Anyways. Update: while writing this, I was kicked off so my partner could try it. Now for the review: I'll get my cons out of the way first. It wasn't immediately obvious to me what orientation the pad was supposed to be in before setting it up and turning on the massaging regions, but I did figure it out based on the remote orientation. I also wish there had been more than one strap to adjust the mat, as with just the one I had a bit of trouble situating it, and the head piece leaned forward. This may be because I am short, and others may have an easier time. Once I moved the massaging pad from a dining room chair to my couch, where there was more head and leg support to retain the shape of the pad, things went much more smoothly. The remote is pretty clear, and I was able to set up the exact kind of massage that I wanted. With the heat, it was incredibly relaxing. I would say this massage pad is a bit more work to set up, but once set up, its bulkier size means it has more massage power, and as I said, my partner kicked me out to use it, and we're very different sizes, so I think it would work for a lot of different body sizes. I'd originally bought this to use in my vehicle, but tried it out in the office first. And let me tell you, I am absolutely in love with this product! I wasn't honestly expecting much, because of the price point. But it fit easily over my chair, is extremely comfortable, and you can choose the intensity of the massage. It has timer settings to shut off automatically after 30, 60, and 90 minutes respectively. I haven't used the heat function just yet but I imagine that will get good use as our weather gets colder. Super easy to use, and I appreciated the little side pocket to keep the remote secure when not in use. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who may be on a budget but wants some relief for back and hip pain. From time to time I suffer from low back as well as arthritis pain; and, I must have something of this type available to me at home at all time; because, when I hurt, I need it right then. I’m surprised I like this chair this much. It’s more than soothed a back injury. I think it helped me avoid injection by helping loosen a too tight of back muscles that seized around a few vertebrae over the last 8 months. Great physical therapist as well. But I think this heated cushion was key in relaxing the back muscles. I used/use morning and night often. More when it’s acute. It’s reliable so far. Hasn’t lost its juice like other shiatsu foot massagers. Junk quality stuff really. So I’m very pleased. Definitely recommend extended warranty though. Wish it had more neck coverage.
