A problem I faced was powering my dashcam system and charging my phone at the same time. Fortunately, this lighter splitter allows me to supply power to my front dashcam, rear dashcam and also charge my phone, all at the same time. This is plenty useful and I don't have to decide if it's more important to charge my phone or have an extra pair of eyes on the road. I do admit, it's a little bulky and the swivel can get loose over time. Recommended.

I have a dashcam I power via the single 12V plug in my Civic. This splitter allows me to power the dashcam and make a few more ports available to charge my phone. It also leaves an extra 12V plug available for any future needs (like powering a tire inflator), as well as it leaves ports available for any of my passengers to charge their devices. It's a solid charger, and I do like that I can turn off the 12V ports when not in use with the respective buttons.

Using in conjunction with another extender to give me more outlets. Its a chunky little device so if you're tight on space be mindful of where this will go. The readings do actually look nice on the screen - even though I find them kind of pointless, most people don't need to know the voltage when they're just using this in a car. Its not really going to change Device does the job though, and doesn't have a hum like some of this little chargers do.
