Mine came branded as a "Westinghouse" in a Westinghouse box. Aside from that, it's a small low-profile light in an attractive "brushed nickel" finish. Easy to mount in most ceiling electrical boxes as there is no bracket...the clear lens comes off and you run the screws direct though the light. Makes installation simple. I like that the light has 5 different "color" settings depending upon where you install it/mood that you want set. You have to remove the lens (a simple twist off) to switch colors so if you want a light that you can switch with an app or something this is not that light. But, it's pretty easy to switch as long as you can physically reach the light. This light is a better value than the home big box stores as I had just priced those out.     • Seems like a decent light, but the rebranding is very bizarre

This is a relatively straightforward LED light, suitable for a walk-in closet or pantry. Nothing unusual about it, the materials and build quality are actually quite nice. So why the deduction of two stars? Somehow, someone involved in marketing this light fixture has decided in their infinite wisdom to rebrand a Westinghouse product as a Ciata. That’s right, let’s take a product built by a company that has been around since 1886 and has world wide brand recognition and paste a label onto the box that is from a company that virtually no one has ever heard of! I did a bit of checking around, and apparently Ciata has been “marketing” lighting fixtures since 2000, so they are not a fly by night outfit. I had never heard the name, but their products are sold through Home Depot, Lowe’s, and obviously Amazon. They seem to have a decent reputation, but honestly, the first thing that crossed my mind upon seeing their label pasted over the Westinghouse label was that the whole thing was a knockoff, not made by either company at all! Why not label it Made For Ciata By Westinghouse? That is entirely suitable and acceptable, to have a product built for you by one of the leading companies in the industry. But Westinghouse isn’t mentioned in the Amazon ad anywhere. Strange. So, okay, the light functions correctly, has a number of options for color that you can choose as it is being installed (you have to partially disassemble it to change settings, but this isn’t really meant to be more than set and forget), it has an attractive appearance, and sells for about the same or a tiny bit less elsewhere if you shop around. Would I order this again? No, the whole disguise the maker thing is too off putting I’m sorry to say, it absolutely does not inspire confidence. Plus I’ve found very similar lights right here on Amazon that cost considerably less. Nice try, but no. ... show more

This is rather difficult to review since I can't install it in the old can light that I want to replace. The fixture seems well made and easy to install and the fixture is pleasing to the eye.

I needed a little light fixture for my hallway that would sit flush against the ceiling. Came across this product and gave it a try. Installation took me about five minutes. Very simple. Attatch the lines, screw in the mount and attach the cap on the light. Now under the cap are different light settings where you can choose from a really white light or more of a yellowish light and several in between. It looks great too and is very sturdy and not to overbearing but this light can also be connected to a dimmer switch. I am very pleased with this product. It does exactly what I needed it to and I'd highly recommend it! ... show more
