I got this Chulux single serve coffee maker to save money since it’s just me drinking coffee. My old name brand maker was a pain to clean and was just too big for me. This little coffee maker does the job! It makes a bit of a mess, but it’s easy to clean said mess. I usually just wipe it down after I’m done for the day. The machine is simple with one button functioning. Just put the pod in, close the lid and push the button. It does take longer than brand names to warm up and brew. This pot doesn’t have a large reservoir, so you only pour what you want brewed. I think the max is only around 12 or 14oz, so one mug of water can be stored and brewed at a time. I quite like the simplicity of it and would definitely recommend. I did gave 4 stars because of how long it takes to brew and the mess it makes on and around the maker. ... show more

    • Great while it lasted!
Wish I could have given this 4 stars, but there were issues. This was a great little machine. Coffee was the right temperature and brew strength and it only took a few minutes. Sadly, it stopped working yesterday morning (RIP). It had been leaking slightly for a few weeks and yesterday it just wouldn’t turn on. Still, I paid less than $50 for it 4 years ago and have used it to make my 2 cups of morning coffee all that time, so I suppose I can say I got my money’s worth. Only other thing to mention is even with regular cleaning and descaling the fine mesh of the filter in the water reservoir starts to clog and it takes forever to put the water in unless you remove the little basket. This is not specifically an issue with this brand. In reading reviews of other similar units, this is mentioned fairly frequently. E Would be great if the manufacturers would offer replacement filter baskets… ... show more
