I bought the CHULUX Slim Espresso Machine with Milk Frother Steam Wand in March and have been actively using it since (near daily). We have a water softener, but don't use it for drinking water so I used distilled water in the machine. I appreciate how compact and easy the machine is to use. Depending on your espresso grind (finer or more course) and how you pack your portafilter, it can be tricky to get the perfect amount apart from weighing your shots until you get the perfect one and then following that measurement thereafter. The milk frother works well but can get quite loud depending on where the wand is positioned in the frothing cup. I also noticed mine pushes out more water than I'd like when I first turn it on so I let it dispense water into a separate cup and then when I see steam, I put the wand into my frothing cup with milk. Overall, this has felt like a great budget purchase and it works well unless I've done something incorrectly (forgot to put the lid down on the water reservoir, left the frothing knob turned on high before I shut it off, etc.). It's great for an at-home quality latte that takes perhaps 2 minutes to make from start to finish.
