This is my first espresso machine.I love this unit specially because it is so easy to use.You absolutely do not need any previous experience as a barista in order to operate it. Well enough to produce a satisfying beverage and learning how to do so was simple.It include instruction booklet, cover to cover, and that’s including pictures.Basically you just need to fill the water tank,turn the machine on and let it heat up while you fill you coffee filter,then select one shot or two shot and while the coffee is brewing,you can steam the milk.Just have some trials and error is to be expected with this sort of thing,especially with someone who doesn’t have a whole lot of experience making these kinds of coffee beverage.Now I can brewing great espressos.It is easy to use,has a large water tank that doesn’t need to filling daily and it does take up a ton of room sitting on my counter.And the unit I received seems well made and neither looks nor feels cheap to me.Honestly,for an affordable machine,I am satisfied with it and recommend it.

I've had this espresso machine for about 4 days now and it works amazing! It was a little confusing as to how to use the machine properly, but once I asked the company for the instruction manual it was very easy to understand. I would say it is definitely worth the purchase. The coffee quality is amazing and I love the creme that it produces. As a former barista I love and appreciate this machine. The only complaint I have is that it is loud the beeping when it is finished and i do not know how to turn off the beeping so I cannot brew espresso at night when my family is asleep

I was a barista this fall and there is something about making your own espresso that I just love, so when I moved into my new apartment I was on the hunt for a cheap basic espresso machine. This machine does what it needs to do, but it needs "breaking in." It took a few weeks of use to get to the point where it was making a decent espresso (I think that I had to find the balance of the right amount of espresso and how firm to pack it). But it's SUPER easy to use, clean, and fits beautifully on my counter. The only thing is that the milk steamer is awful, it doesn't get nearly hot enough to properly steam milk, and takes so long that the milk just ends up with bubbles.... but for the price thats kind of expected. Luckily I dont take my coffee with milk often, so its not an issue for me.... but just a warning if you are after a machine to make quality lattes and other drinks!

Overall a great purchase. I wanted a stainless espresso machine without a big price tag. This is my first espresso maker and I'm no pro. When you power up the machine, the lights flash for about 30 seconds before you can make your espresso. After that it goes pretty quick and works well. I bought an espresso cup that sits nicely in there. The frother takes a while to heat up my shelf stable room temperature hemp milk - about two minutes. I wish that part went quicker, but no deal breaker for me. It took some time figuring out how to pull a good espresso shot, watched some YouTube videos and read the manual. But after a few tries, I now really look forward to making my homemade mochas each morning! I bought a better tamper because it comes with a cheap plastic one. I also bought a stainless mesh filter that goes on top of the espresso when brewing, as well as the milk frother stainless cup. Great espresso machine for a beginner!

I purchased the Chulux Slim Espresso Machine about 9 months ago. It worked well initially but began to experience an issue with water leaking out of the milk frothing wand when pulling espresso shots. It also was pushing steam through espresso head when frothing the milk. I contacted customer support, and they were very helpful in troubleshooting the problem (descaling the machine). Unfortunately, that did not resolve the problem. The customer service rep (Link), promptly arranged for a replacement machine. Outstanding customer service!

Oh I've enjoyed this! I like the reservoir. Its easy to fill. Be careful and make sure to pour it right into it. I missed a little once and thought it was leaking.. User error.. Comes out hot! Its a bit louder than expected but it doesn't bother me, I want the elixir! I tend to hit the double shot button, then add a single shot right after to get all the black medicine water I can out of the coffee packed into the double shot coffee holder (it comes with a single and double shot holder. I like the auto shut off feature and the device is of decent quality. There is one annoying feature I've had to adjust to.. there is a notch in the coffee holder ( the thing you pack the coffee into) that must matchup to insert it an remove it from the handle. It's hard to see/find that notch on removal. I've gotten better at it but I'm not sure about the design need. But this device meets the craving. Decent price for the function.
