Tiny, Mighty and makes a delicious cup
This Chulux Slim Single is SUCH a great little coffee maker. I ordered the Lavender color for my daughter's dorm and the way it's represented in the product photo is very accurate. It is a beautiful soft lavender color and I searched and searched for a purple one. This coffee maker doesn't have bells and whistles but it gets the job done much better than my Name brand _eurig-mini plus. I want to replace my popular mini-plus with this one. It's simple to operate; add coffee, pour in the water, push the ONE and ONLY button and a nice hot cup of coffee is ready in more or less 2 minutes. The coffee made in the Chulux is strong when using my own grounds and tastes better than my name brand. It's definitely less noisy, and brews faster than my _eurig Min Plus. Separately I ordered 2 all stainless steel filters to use my own coffee as I don't like the waste of the disposable pods. I wasn't sure which reusable filters would work but as long as you choose one that fits the K models 1.0 or 2.0 (not K mini plus) and has a flat sides and rim they fit perfectly. I've made coffee using both a disposable pod and the reusable filter and they both yield tasty results. I would recommend this product. It's so cute and tiny and when my daughter takes it to college I will order another one for home. Also to note: The Chulux is only 800 watts and all of the Name Brand K single serve coffee makers are all more than 1200 watts. A coffee maker has to be under 1200 for my daughter's dorm room so another bonus for Chulux. This coffee machine is fun to use. Just get it you'll be happy.

Still going after 7 years

⭐ Compact, Fast, and Perfect for Everyday Coffee!
I’m really happy with this single-serve coffee maker. It has a slim design that doesn’t take up much counter space, making it perfect for small kitchens, dorms, or offices. It heats up quickly and brews a hot cup of coffee in just a few minutes. I like that it works with K-Cups and the coffee comes out rich and flavorful. The adjustable drip tray is a great feature because it easily fits my travel mug without making a mess. The machine is simple to use, easy to clean, and feels well made. Cute, compact design, but the coffee was too diluted
I really wanted to love this coffee maker because it is very cute and aesthetically pleasing. I love the lavender color and it’s compact size is perfect for the countertop without taking up much space. It’s also very simple and easy to use, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the actual coffee brewing was an issue for me. Every K-Cup I tried to make (different brands, different amounts of water etc.) came out noticeably diluted. They unfortunately looked more like tea than coffee. I tried adjusting the settings but I couldn't get a stronger cup of coffee. The core coffee was translucent/almost transparent to give you an idea of brew strength. I also noticed a strong chemical/plastic smell from the machine. I washed and cleaned it thoroughly, but the smell remained, which made me kind of uncomfortable drinking the coffee. I didn’t notice any concerning chemical taste with the coffee though. Pros: • Nice range of colors that are true to posting photos • Compact size • Very easy to use Cons: • Coffee consistently brewed very diluted • Strong chemical/plastic smell persisted even after thoroughly washing Ultimately, it didn't perform the basic function (brewing a k-cup) well enough for me to get much use out of it. Overall: I like the appearance, size, and simplicity of this machine and I really wanted it to work for me. Unfortunately, the consistently weak coffee and strong plastic/chemical smell were significant enough drawbacks that I don’t use it. Hopefully others have better luck, but based on my experience, I wasn't able to get a satisfying cup of coffee from it.

This is the second one that failed. They work great for a few months, then they fail to brew the full amount of water added. When I add 12 ounces it only brews 5 to 7 ounces of coffee. And now it’s overdue for return. When two units failed in the same way I can not recommend it. I found out from a friend that I may have to DESCALE the coffee machine. HE WAS RIGHT! The machine now works perfectly like new😀 I would like to change my review to FIVE STARS, and apologize for my uninformed original review.

My coffee is HOT!

I'm sure it's compact size makes it desirable in small spaces. I only bought it because my Keurig was giving out. This little coffee maker does what my Keurig NEVER did, give me a HOT cup of coffee straight out of the machine. No microwaving necessary. Enough said.

Good little coffee maker

I like it but the only thing i have an issue with is the part where the cup sits on could be about a bit longer so my mug sits on it better. That's why I only gave it 4. Makes coffee good enough. Easy and doesn't take up too much space. I bought the red and I like it.
