Love the look of this trench with nice details like tortoise buttons and belt buckle and it is made of a great water resistant/soil resistant fabric. I haven’t washed it yet but it stays nice and clean through many wears. I did iron it when I got it out of the package and it has stayed really nice. I think it is a great value for the price. I’m 5’4 and wear size 14. I bought an xl and I like both the length and fit. The length is a little lower than mid thigh on me. It’s a light weight jacket that is comfortable in cooler temperatures. I love the aesthetic of wearing the jacket with cream, blacks and browns and it makes me look really put together. I highly recommend. ... show more

Unfortunately it was too snug across my shoulders. I am 5’7” and usually wear a medium, but ordered a large based on reviews. I order the lined one, so the unlined may have worked. The lining is quilted and is in the sleeves, too. It would keep you pretty warm. It is rather stiff, but seemed right for what it was. I. Love. This. I LOVE it. The fit is spot on (sizing can vary wildly with online shopping) - I ordered a medium and it’s definitely a medium. I have thicker arms than my height and weight would suggest and this definitely accommodates my body with a flannel shirt underneath (I tried it on as soon as it arrived) and I could probably wear a thin sweater or sweatshirt underneath it too. It’s thinner than standard trench coats - definitely not intended for warmth in cold weather - think more Spring or Fall weather. That’s a plus for me - I wanted to pull together my funeral outfit and not be cold at the windy cemetery but didn’t want to be overheating in Spring weather, either. It’s got clean lines, well made - worth the cost. The belt is very long - I wrapped it around my waist twice - so I’ll either tie it off (I know it has a “buckle” loop but still) or remove it all together. Doesn’t matter - it’s a nice look. This jacket exceeded my expectations. The first time I wore it I received multiple compliments on the fit and quality. It is heavier than I expected and has a detachable hood. I disliked the fact that the jacket came terribly wrinkled. Couldn’t iron, had to send to cleaners. Nice material but the small size is more medium than small.
