This is a really great coat for the price. It's lightweight, flattering, and comes with a detachable belt and hood. I got it in the black and it's very slimming. It's well-made and all the details are thoughtful, including the tortoiseshell buttons. For reference, I got the 3X and am 5'7, 220 lbs.; based on the other large-chested gals' reviews I sized up and it fit perfectly. My only gripe is the detachable hood, the snaps don't stay put so it's constantly falling off, therefore, that part is basically useless. This is a flattering, mid-length trench coat. I ordered a size up (large) based on other descriptions of fit. In US sizes, I typically wear a medium. I ordered khaki, which in the photos looks very light in color. What I received was much darker, really a camel color. The fabric is lightweight, the stitching is clean and tidy. The buttons and belt buckle are not the greatest quality, but look fine and are what I would expect for the great price on this coat. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and consider it a good buy. I. Love. This. I LOVE it. The fit is spot on (sizing can vary wildly with online shopping) - I ordered a medium and it’s definitely a medium. I have thicker arms than my height and weight would suggest and this definitely accommodates my body with a flannel shirt underneath (I tried it on as soon as it arrived) and I could probably wear a thin sweater or sweatshirt underneath it too. It’s thinner than standard trench coats - definitely not intended for warmth in cold weather - think more Spring or Fall weather. That’s a plus for me - I wanted to pull together my funeral outfit and not be cold at the windy cemetery but didn’t want to be overheating in Spring weather, either. It’s got clean lines, well made - worth the cost. The belt is very long - I wrapped it around my waist twice - so I’ll either tie it off (I know it has a “buckle” loop but still) or remove it all together. Doesn’t matter - it’s a nice look. I got the grey coat and it’s exactly as pictured - not too dark, not too light. I recommend this trench coat. ... show more

    • The hood doesn’t stay on the coat.

I love the color but the jacket runs big. The strap to close it was really long and keeps getting caught in the car door. My biggest issue is that the hood is removable and the slightest tug pulls the hood off the jacket. The wind blew hard and blew my hood away.

Bought this for a specific trip to Alaska where the weather would be rainy almost 100% of the time. Didn't expect a whole lot for the price but I've been pleasantly surprised. It is more water resistant than I thought it would be, AND it dries very, very quickly! It is also flattering and seems to be sturdy and long lasting enough. I've had it almost a year now and wear it often (except in the deep winter months), so far so good as far as longevity. Love it! ... show more

Love the look of this trench with nice details like tortoise buttons and belt buckle and it is made of a great water resistant/soil resistant fabric. I haven’t washed it yet but it stays nice and clean through many wears. I did iron it when I got it out of the package and it has stayed really nice. I think it is a great value for the price. I’m 5’4 and wear size 14. I bought an xl and I like both the length and fit. The length is a little lower than mid thigh on me. It’s a light weight jacket that is comfortable in cooler temperatures.
