I received a RETURNED CHAIR. It still had the paperwork from the previous buyer in the box. The box had a LOT of tape on it, there were gaps in the box. The chair looked FINE. It was assembled easily and within a reasonable amount of time. The padding on the chair is VERY FIRM and THIN. You can feel the wood construction easily. It is a usable chair for the purpose it was bought. But it would not be a chair you would want to sit in a lot...the comfort level is very low. I would have thought that AMAZON would have listed this particular RETURNED chair...as a return chair to potential buyer at a DISCOUNTED Price.......just sayin' ... show more

I bought this as a more comfortable replacement for my office chair. Its okay but not great. First is the material. Its strongish but a little scratchy. I hate the color. Its more green than blue like in the picture but that is probably due to varying color settings of the computers. I'm gonna get a cover for it later to fix that so not a big deal for me. Assembly was a little difficult. You will likely need two people to fit it together as aligning the back with the appropriate slots is a bit hard when you can't see them while the back is in the way. I'm not happy that it seems more cheaply made than I expected. TWo of the legs broke on mine and I am trying figure out how to fix it without damaging it further. Honestly, it is a okay chair but I don't think its worth the amount of money they charge for it. ... show more

This is a very cute chair...enough room for an adult and child or dog. But it is way too tall! I'm 5'1" and I know I'm short, but my gosh, we didn't use to have to buy and switch out legs on new furniture. This is our 4th Christopher Knight chair. We love the price and how easy they are to put together and how cute they are, but really tired of the too high of legs. Only good for people 6 ft and over, I would think. My husband is 5'7" and it's too tall for him and of course, the bolts that are used for the legs aren't the universal size, so we always have to drill bigger holes, in the replacement chair legs in order to get them to fit. So if you're tall, this will work for you, but if you aren't...then either plan on doing a lot of work to make it fit, or don't buy. ... show more

Positives: It's beatiful, comfortable, extra wide so I can sit with my kids in it, I love the color and style. Negatives: box came crazy damaged and torn apart, there was dirt and crumbles in the chair. I fully believe it's used. The recliner makes a terrible clunking sound in the seat and it sounds very broken. I really love the comfort and look of this chair! I would love it even more if it didn't come used and damaged. I'm keeping it currently because it's too much of a hassle to send back, and it's so beautiful and matches exactly what I wanted for my living room, but I am pretty disappointed for the price I paid that the recliner feels broken, and the material looked dirty and box torn to pieces. A partial refund would be nice, or someone pick this one up and replace this with an undamaged new one! ... show more

Color is beautiful and more vibrant than expected. Assembly was a breeze, especially the 2nd one, and I assembled them by myself. The cushions are somewhat "squeaky" and perhaps need to be worn in? I absolutely love the recliner feature and it has two different degrees of reclining, "lounge/tv" and "sleep". The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I paid for 2 NEW recliners ($854.48) and one of them looks to be used/returned. The box was a wreck and not all of the parts were wrapped like a new product should be. Also, the feet are scratched, which I assumed may have been warehouse damage, that is until I opened the 2nd one, which was in perfect condition and wrapped like a new product, with no scratches. A part of the "underbody" is torn and there is debris on the chair that did not come from the box or wrapping. I'm pretty upset that I paid full price for a used item. It's too much work to return it but I feel I should get a partial refund/discount on the used item. Amazon and/or the vendor is/are usually good about marking an item as used or "open-box", someone dropped the ball on this one. ... show more

We have had this recliner since Feb 2020. This has been the PERFECT chair for our living room. It’s huge and reclining it does require pulling it away from the wall, but we don’t recline it often because of where it is anyway. But the size of it and reclining feature are AWESOME! We truly love the look and feel of it and so do guests who come over. It’s usually the first place they choose to sit. Our cat uses it as a perch to look out of the window and he claws it often, but you can’t even tell, thankfully. It’s gorgeous and sturdy and we would absolutely buy it again, but I hope we never have to. :) ... show more
