If zero stars was an option, I would be choosing that for my review. This very expensive piece of FAUX leather furniture does not live up to its price. The lid which is poorly designed becomes warped after only a few months of use and begins to pull away from where it is hinged, causing it to be misaligned and eventually we've developed a large gap that looks like an overbite needing orthodontic treatment. Tried contacting Amazon Customer Service and their hands are tied - they said contact the manufacturer. Christopher Knight Home website only offers you one option: a phone number which no one answers and a voicemail which no one ever returns your call. So now I'm stuck with this gap-toothed absurdity in the center of my living room after only just purchasing it in July. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! You will regret it, trust me. ... show more

Exactly the chestnut brown described ,seems well built although one side of lid is a bit out of alignment when it’s closed .. however this little annoyance is not enough of an issue to entice me to go through the work of returning the ottoman! Looks rather 👍

The ottoman was a perfect fit to my existing living room furniture. The color was true to form and the padding was more than expected. The storage underneath is very roomy. There is plenty of room for blankets, pillows, remotes, etc.

I really loved the color and size of this ottoman. It looked well made however the lid broke within 2 months and minimal use. I think the wood in the lid was glued together, and the glue didn’t hold. It resulted in a lid that slid more and more off center, eventually being so far off center that I could see into the storage when it was closed. I’m bummed out because it was exactly what I wanted and needed but I had to return it. ... show more
