Bought two sets of chairs (4 total). Pros: Looks great, works as described, easy to clean, great touch to our decor. Cons: Assembles uneven, one set has a plastic crackling sound when you move around on it or touch it. These ivory, upholstered bar stools look great with my ~35" high bar table. I used the payment installment option which is helpful. I assembled both by myself with no problems and no wobbles. I like the stiffer cushions for working on my laptop and eating meals seated on them, I sit more erect. I use a small footstool for my feet (the stepstool in photo has been replaced with a handsome brown leather one), the 30" high seat is great for enjoying the window view but higher than most might want. ... show more

There a a lot of reviews out there about the assembly, it really isn’t that bad. I was nervous buying because so many people struggled with it and it worked it really well. One thing to keep in mind- do not tighten the bolts while putting it together until the end. Keep them really loose other wise you won’t be able to fit the horizontal wood piece between the legs. There will also be gaps on these parts, we used a drill to crank down the screws and we still had gaps. Don’t buy if this will bother you. I really like these barstools. The first one seems to be misaligned and as you can see in the picture isn't as straight as the first one. I hope that the seller will be able to just send me one to replace the one that is misaligned. The second one is great and was much easier to put together. UPDATE...emailed seller re: above problem. Was told to contact Amazon which I did. They had to send me 2 complete barstools again since they couldn't just send me pieces. Was told to return what we didn't use. The sad thing about all this is that even the 2nd box only had 1 good barstool! the other one was misaligned, yet again. Im glad I have 2 but does make me question the quality control. Love the barstools though, just disappointed in the inconsistency of workmanship. ... show more

Stools are very sturdy. They arrived fast and are easy to put together. A couple of the pieces did fit together but not as easy as others. be careful when screwing the stool together to avoid breaking the wood pieces.
