This is really a sturdy set of furniture. The chairs are large and roomy to sit on with or without the cushions. Be careful with the cushions as they do show dirty easily. I used a teak sealer on my set to preserve the beautiful honey/tan color. To add comfort, I put an outdoor pillow on each chair for back support. I would recommend this set. ... show more

I've been looking for a small patio set but they are so pricey. This lovely little set exceeded my expectations. Is it perfect? No But for the price, fantastic. There are areas where the finish is not perfect, we had to swap around the arms to find the best for the predilled homes, but in the end it's surprisingly sturdy, the chairs are wide and comfortable. We ordered a $20 waterproof cover from WalMar5 and expect to get quite a few seasons from this set. Very pleased overall. ... show more

I have mixed feelings. On one hand, the table and chairs are fantastic. The set is really nice and even if the set had been priced higher, it would be a great value. Honestly, they are beautiful, sturdy, and really comfortable. The seats are wider, which is just comfy even if you're a smaller person. The wood is beautiful. I put a varnish on them since I live near the ocean (man'o'war is great) and I love how it turned out. Be aware that there is a not insignificant amount of assembly involved, but its really really worth it and thats what it takes to ship the set in a cost effective way. The assembly isn't even hard, it just takes a while because its five pieces. The instructions are easy and designed to be easy to follow. It's really really worth it. Also, if you have any need to, their customer service department is fantastic and super responsive. The real issue came down to shipping, and honestly thats more Amazon's fault than the sellers, hence the star rating. When the set arrived, it was missing three screws for the table legs. As instructed very clearly in the package (thank you!) I contacted the seller, who promptly and professionally responded. However, it seems Amazon has full and total control over the shipping, and the seller was not allowed to interfere. However, when I contacted Amazon, their customer service department refused to send me screws. Instead, they offered me a small refund (I'm talking $10) to go out and find screws that would match. To say I was surprised was an understatement, especially given how particular the screws are and that I have mobility limitations at the moment. What happened to Amazon's customer service? Essentially, if you can, order from the seller directly. They're great! Avoid ordering from Amazon- they have genuinely no intention of providing customer service on this item. ... show more

Rarely have I been as happy to write a product review. This table and chair combination exceeded our expectations. It's a very attractive solid wood ensemble with a teak finish. The chairs are wide, comfortable and very sturdy; as is the table. Assembly was a breeze. Everything fit and none of the hardware was missing. And I mean everything fit perfectly -- no modifications required! One extra piece of hardware was included for every screw and bolt type and the hardware itself was first rate. It was very well packaged. So well packaged, that it took more time to unpack the chairs than it did to assemble them. Allow 20 minutes or so to assemble the table; about 20 minutes for the first chair and then 10 minutes for each subsequent chair. This product was made in Vietnam. Well done. ... show more
