    • Nylon foot pads not secure. I had to get some epoxy to glue them in place.
Nice chair for the money. I ordered arm rest covers because the arm rest stitching is not smooth. easy to assemble, but the nylon foot glides are not secure. I glued them on with epoxy.

    • Can you kick like a mule?
I have had this chair for a month, wanted to give it a good try out before writing a review. First off, it came in a large box in two pieces which were individually wrapped. Had to slide the back onto the seat part of the chair which took about a minute to do. Slide onto rails on the seat and is very firm, it's not coming apart. The chair itself looks good, more like real leather than synthetic. It glides, not rocks, so it's a little different, but result is about the same. It's a comfortable chair and fits me well. I'm 6' and 220 lbs. I use it daily and it seems to be well constructed and holding up fine. The only drawback to the chair imo is getting out of it when in the reclining position. You have to hold the side tab and push forward and down to lower the footstool. Once you are sitting up, I have to keep the back of my legs on the stool part and stand up, then kick like a mule to get the footstool part to latch. I thought maybe it would get easier as it gets used and broken in, but doesn't seem to yet. If you are on the weaker side, or can't kick like a mule, then you may want to consider another chair that closes easier. Otherwise, I think it's a good value and definitely looks nice. ... show more

I needed to find a chair to match a set of leather sofas that I found on marketplace. I was a bit hesitant to order this one due to mixed reviews, but the price was good and most of all shipping was super fast compared to the 6 weeks plus of most things right now! The Amazon delivery team was very courteous and even brought the box right inside the door for me. I assembled it myself, simply attaching the back and side head wings to the base. Each just slid into place. As for comfort, when in a normal sitting/gliding position, it is a little stiff but I think it will break in over time. It reclines easily and is comfortable for me at 5’ 8” in both the reclining and laid back positions. The “leather” looks and feels much like my genuine leather sofas and it has a nice leather grain too. Not the typical shiny solid vinyl look that most faux leathers are. The color is a rich dark brown with contrast stitching. It could stand to be a bit larger with a deeper seat, but that really is the only improvements I would suggest. Time will tell on how it will wear and last, but for the price it was a great buy! ... show more

I read the reviews before ordering, and I have to agree, this chair looks like brown plastic or vinyl. It doesn’t resemble leather, in my opinion. However, that’s exactly what my autistic son needed. Something washable that he could rock in. He loves it. So far, it’s working out perfectly as his spot to be on his iPad in the family room. The chair recline's so far back that it tiped over backwards with me in it twice and i weigh 200 pounds Come to find the right leg or slat is completely bent , ive only had this chair for 3 weeks I recommend buying your furniture at a furniture store like i wish i would have done

Have had for two years and has held up extremely well to daily use and two dogs running over it. No scratches believe it or not. I rarely write reviews but, I am very impressed with this chair.
