Believe all the reviews that say this is brittle. I thought the cracks in others reviews were shipping errors. It’s not. We’ve used this fire pit 3 times and because it’s a fireplace, it’s been outside. Well, with the rainy summer season this thing has been water boarded. The top and sides have swollen and cracked and fallen apart. Cement/stone shouldn’t do that. This thing is painted plaster or some other mixed medium that should not be exposed to water and humidity. I have a wood cubby shelf by my front door in our screened in patio and that has held up better than this “stone” fireplace. Buyer beware, look elsewhere. ... show more

Other reviews made me lenient but this is solid. Many fires in and not one issue. Looks way better than just metal. Now we just need to build a formal fire pit area.

    • Poor quality fell apart in months
This fire pit cost me over 300$ . Literally after a couple months the top and sides started to crumble . Do not buy this product. Total rip off!

    • Very Poorly Made. Did not last long.
This fire pit looks very nice out of the package and is quite easy to assemble. However, it is very cheaply made and not durable. It didn't even make it through 1 season before pieces started chipping & the "painted" surface started coming off. Very disappointing.
