    • A bit difficult to assemble

It arrived in good condition. No scratches or dents. Received two bags of hardware. It took me over an hour to assemble the first chair. The holes for some screws didn't line up well. I had to pull and tug to get the alignment right so the screws would go in. I broke out a flashlight so I could see the holes and check the alignment. The seat back was especially troublesome with hole alignment. Make sure you read the instructions on how those seatbacks fit on the chair. If you have them the wrong way, the holes don't line up well. In placing the under-seat braces, it's much easier to use a drill and a small bit to make the pilot holes. The pilot holes already in place, are very small and I stripped out two screw-heads trying to drive the screw in. Once the pilot hole was drilled out, it was much easier to install the screw. Once all together, these are very nice-looking chairs. Patience in assembly is key. ... show more

We tried another brand that is very similar to this style and they were so uncomfortable, we had to send them back. These fit us so comfortably. The back rest is the perfect height and angle and the seats are large enough to support your whole thigh. I am an ergonomic specialist by trade and how the chair fits the body is very important to me. These are about as perfect as can be in that regard. They look beautiful with my table and wall color too. They seem to be very sturdy and well designed for long wear. I am 5'6" and my husband is 6'2"....He says he loves how they make him sit upright at the table without slouching while remaining very comfortable. ... show more

Ignore reviews that say this is hard to assemble, first one took 15 mins, the rest took maybe 10. The instructions are exceptionally clear and easy to follow. The only recommendation I have is that you might find it easier with a drill for attaching the leg supports. One of them had a minor scuff, still have a few left to assemble, will update if I come across any other issues. They are about an inch shorter than other standard chairs I think. They sit comfortably, are they exceptionally comfortable? Not really, they are great for the cost though! And they would be easy to sit in for an hour. Need to loosely assemble, ok quality fabric is not great quality, but wood is nice. To assemble loosely assemble, then balance, then tighten. Would tighten main hex bolts while on the ground with someone making sure it’s still level as you go through and tighten the bolts, Then turn upside down to add screwed in parts. ... show more

The chairs are good looking and comfort. But look at the reviews before you attempt to assemble. Unfortunately, the directions are off. Once reading other reviews on how to assemble it only took hubby 10-15 minutes…the company should adopt other reviews directions.
